The last contact I had with this Author was just before Christmas of last year and he was promising more features (it's in this thread if you want to try and find it.) I think though, that after this length of time, it might be safe to say he has forgotten about this very cool (and very useful to us minimalists) plugin.
So that said ... is it acceptable for someone else to try and fix this to at least work w/ RoI and maybe add some of the requested features to it? I don't know LUA at all and don't really have the time to learn.... I would very much like to be able to use this again.

While I full on think the original developer has abandoned this fine project ... I'd like to note that after Update5, VitalBars 1.3.0 loads, the right-click menu works as expected but it loads with this error
Code:
...ings Online\Plugins\GaranStuff\AltInventory\Main.lua:24: attempt to call field 'LocalPlayer' (a table value)

Hmm. Interesting. That error shouldn't have anything to do with VitalBars. Instead it has to do with an ooooooold version of AltInventory - notably, the version that was released prior to the November 2010 game update. I have no idea why your installation of VitalBars would be referencing an AltInventory file. It sounds more like you have an antique version of AltInventory installed and accidentally set it to load when you set up VitalBars - did you just start using the Turbine Plugin Manager or some other manager and let it load the old AltInventory? Either way, you can eliminiate that particular error by downloading and installing the latest AltInventory (version 2.05) which was just published.

Yer, stupid of me (maybe), I had an old copy of AltInventory but not loaded, the error msg I posted was triggered by the loading of VitalBars, which was strange. Putting 2.05 in place stopped it from triggering the way it did.

Problem loading plugin
I have a problem loading this plugins. When I go to load it gives me an error saying something about a nil value, but when I load it in game (using plugin manager) it loads fine.
I just posted this same problem with M_vitals (aka Vitals), they fixed it. I am hoping the same problem is in this plugin also.
Is there some way to delay when it loads.
Thanks for any reply

Fixing the black transparency bug
For those veterans still using this plugin, recently there's been another issue with the vital bars going black when using 0 transparency out of combat. You see it after logging in and your health regenerating to full. Once that happens, the vital bar will not fade away. Instead it stays on screen and is black.
To fix this, use http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info624.html and replace the file as it instructs.
