ItemCalc is a plugin for testing the expected characteristics of items.

DO NOT /bug Turbine about item problems unless you're absolutely sure the error is not in the plugin. I'm rarely sure. Also, don't let weapons drive you insane.

The first column of numbers displays the typical amount of a given stat on an item of that level. The second column of numbers displays the amount of the item budget that the stat is taking.

Usage:
show window: /itemcalc
toggle debugging: /itemcalc debug
reset window: /itemcalc reset
toggle window: /itemcalc toggle
switch to german: /itemcalc german
switch to english: /itemcalc english

Known Issues:

1. Ranged weapons, class items, and the passive stats on two-handed legendaries use different item budgets that aren't implemented in the plugin, but you can still discover interesting things by plugging in their numbers.
2. Only English or German interface currently.
3. DPS is poorly understood. I've given up and simply implemented lookup-tables. The tables are missing entries.
4. Armour values are a bit off for light shields, warden shields, cloaks, and high level items.
5. Vendor prices are sometimes based on required level, not item level.

Version History:

• 10 New version numbering to match LoTRO updates. Added Critical Defence. Introduced a MagicLevel configuration variable for level-guessing, set at 90 to suit RoR gear. Partial German translation, thanks to Amethadan.
• 0.8 Initial lotrointerface.com release. Big interface changes since my version on forums.lotro.com. Small changes to mitigation and armour formulas. DPS formulas removed and replaced with lookup-tables.
