Description
This plugin provides details on all the travel locations in the game except for some boats. For each location you can list all the destinations with costs and travel restrictions. It can also find the best route between any two stable locations and factor in Milestone/Return/Guide/Muster skills, even providing a clickable icon for the skill when it provides the best route.

Basic chat commands:
/tr zones (display known zones with stables)
/tr <zone name> (display stables in the zone)
/tr <location name> (display location details with destinations)
/tr <coordinates> (displays nearest stable)
/tr rt (display unlearned Return to locations and requirements)
/trv (display Not Visited stables)
/trv <location name> (toggles Not Visited flag)
/trw (open the Travel Locations window)
/trw req (open the Travel Requirements window)
/trw td (open the Travel Discounts window)
/trw rt (open the Return to locations window)
/trw gm (open the Guide/Muster akilla window for hunters/wardens)
/trw ms (displays the current milestone settings)

With the travel window, an optimal route can be found between any two connected locations. For complete details, be sure to check the ReadMe file.

NOTICE: When installing for the first time, be sure to follow the instructions in the ReadMe file to avoid problems.

Exclamation Version 2.9 (Update 13)

The revision adds the changes that are part of Lotro Update 13. There are 2 new stable locations in both the Trollshaws and Misty Mountains as well as some added Swift Travel connections. There is 1 new stable in the new flooded Isengard area, but none in the new Entwood area.

In the file Travel_req.plugindata of one of my pirates is a line I don't understand:
["Aughaire"] = false,
What is the meaning of this?
Apparently it does not mean that the place has not been visited yet, what I first assumed would be the meaning.
You almost had it. If it was true, it would mean not visited. The default is no entry (which is false). Having an entry of false means that it had previous been set to not visited and was later reset.

Hi Vinny,

Thanks for any enlightenment

Thumbs down Warning: Stoke to Helm's Deep still broken!

I was sure they would have finally fixed it in the last set of patches, but they didn't, even though it was reported in beta and again after release. A slow stable ride from Stoke to Helm's Deep gets stuck in Brockbridge. The reverse ride also gets stuck, but at least its just outside the destination.

Fortunately, the ST versions work and only cost a little more, so its nothing critical, just annoying.

There is a typo with a stable in Forochel, it should be spelled Kuru-leiri.

When I try to find the best starting point to Suri-kyla, TravelRef tells my Hunter to use Guide to Bree, West Bree and then ST to Suri-kyla. But that travel requires Acquaintance Standing with the Lossoth of Forochel.
Thanks for the two catches. The spelling was due to misreading the name. The Bree to Suri-kyla used to require Bree rep, but it looks like it was another change they didn't mention.

I'll include both in the next update.

Exclamation Version 2.8.5

Turbine made some significant changes to the HD stables between beta and release, so I've done a lot of editing to bring things up to date. I've fixed the level check and also found that all the HD stables now require level 85+. The travel prices changed and I got to Friend rep with Eorlingas, so I was able to see which locations get a travel discount for this. Traveling rations are no longer used, so I removed them from travel cost calculations. Finally, for some strange reason, regular stable destinations in Wildermore were given different name (personally, I find it confusing), so I changed the stable destination lists to reflect the new names. I also fixed some logic errors.

In summary, there are a lot of fixes for HD and a few for other locations, so this update is needed for accuracy. I don't claim that it is free of all defects, but its a significant improvement.

Red face Level check error

I just got to level 86 and discovered that I forgot to update the character level check to a max value of 95. I'll fix this in the next update, but as a temporary work-a-around, set the level to 85 (this won't change any of the results).

PS. The text field after "Level:" is where you change the level.

Exclamation Version 2.8 (Helm's Deep expansion)

This update adds all the locations for the Helm's Deep expansion. During beta, the route between Helm's Deep and Stoke was bugged, so I don't have the travel time for it yet. Also, the rep discounts in West Rohan still need to be added, but neither of these issues should keep the find route from working properly as ST is available for all locations in West Rohan.

I'll clean these up in the next version, but wanted to get this out to be ready for the expansion release.

Helm's Deep expansion

The HD expansion add 14 new stables in West Rohan. I've got them added to the next TR update so that I'll be able to publish it when HD is released. They often make some final adjustments on release, so there may be some values that need to be adjusted.

Exclamation Version 2.7.8

This update makes some corrections and adds a new option.

First, I fixed spelling of "Ered Luin". Then I noticed an inconsistency in the travel times when using milestones, so I revisited all the milestones close to a stable and recalculated the time to reach the stable. Finally, I added an option to the requirements window to add a global 20% travel discount for characters that have either the Writ of Passage or the Founders discount.

Re: FYI - Strange costs

Quote:
Stangard to Harwick shows correct numbers at the stable-master.
However AT Harwick, the ST route to Stangard lists as: 57.20 which translates to roughly 76s at 20% .. you show a cost of 71.5. The normal travel shows at 48, which is correct, AND which matches the costs to the rest of Rohan locations.

All of the other ST routes in Rohan show 52.80 which is the correct rate and translates to 66. Note that you show the correct numbers. It's just the in-game route that is "confused."
Harwick to Stangard has the same pricing as the routes to Wildermore locations, so I doubt that its a bug for the base rates. There may be an issue with how discounts are applied.

Re: FYI - Strange costs

Quote:
Working with a toon -- Founder with Riders of Stangard rep... should give 30% discount. (Founder travel discount is 20%)
Ok, so Founders get a global 20% discount on top of all other discounts? I can add a setting for that. That would mean that you can get a combined discount of 40% in Moria?
