Plugin window and G15 window blank

I can't get the plugin to populate nor update the G15 screen. I do have the combat window logging to a file, and have verified that the log file is being populated with data. I have found the LoadData.plugindata file touched by the plugin in "<documentpath>/The Lord of the Rings Online/PluginData/<accountname>/AllServers", but this doesn't have anything other than the "touch" entry in it.

I've tried starting the C++ parser both before and after starting the game/plugin, getting the same results either way. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the parser piece, but this didn't help, either.

I'm running Windows XP Profession edition, 32 bit. I'm using the 1.10c version of the plugin.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Version 1.1.0 now out

All runtime issues should be fixed for XP users and 64 bit users and issues fixed regarding file paths.

I've tested on clean XP 32 and Win7 32/64 without issues.

Same download links as before.

It looks like you're not logging a combat tab. It was my understanding you have to have a combat tab open and logging for this to work.

There is the LotroLCD.plugindata located under "C:\Users\XXX\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\PluginData\XXX\[DE-RP] Belegaer\Mimie".

Here is a screenshoot:

OS: Win7 64-Bit

Version 1.05 works fine!

As far as I know the data should always be shown in the LUA plugin window if the plugin is loaded and the C code is running.

The LUA plugin and the C code communicate through a file, the file is located under the PluginData folder in your Lotro folder (My Documents/Lord of the Rings Online), perhaps you can verify that you can see the data in this file ?

If not I'll have to take a deeper look once I get home from work.

Hi, the Plugin works and shows the log values on the G15 LCD, but the UI window shows nothing.

Do you know this issue and maybe a fix for it?

Version 1.0.9 now out

I've just had the opportunity to test this on an XP machine and it's still broken, until further notice It's recommended that users on XP run version 1.0.7

Version 1.0.9 now inlcludes this fix.

Version 1.0.8 released

Just released version 1.0.8

Mostly version 1.0.8 just fixes bugs and issues found in previous releases, including popup error messages, missing Turbine plugin files when first plugin installed, issues with combat status in LUA plugin, performance and more.

As usual the new version can be downloaded from the same links as before.

If you do have any issues or requests please post them, It's hard to imagine every possible situation and without feedback I won't be able to improve the plugin.

I'll have the transparency available as a setting in the next version.

Oh, awesome thanks. So far it's working like a charm. I really like the historical DPS too. Great addition.

Wish List:
I wish I could set the transparency level on the window, I don't know if this is possible.
I eagerly await the clear buttons.

Version 1.0.6 just out

Just released version 1.0.6 which has a new data element called hdps (history dps), this element shows the average dps since LotroLCD (the exe) was started.

Due to time constraints I left the reset/clear and settings buttons for the next release but the UI is a lot better and LUA performance has been improved by a factor of 1000 or so and any performance issues should be history.

You can use the same links as before to download the new version.

Feedback is encouraged as usual.

Yes, it returned it back to normal ending the lotroLCD plug in. LotroLCD can continue running in the background fine, so perhaps it's with the plugin itself. Have you tried alt tabbing in and out of the game to try and replicate my problem? It seems to happen more quickly when I'm alt tabbing in and out.
I think I have now been able to reproduce this, after a couple of hours I see a drop in the fps, I've gone through the code to try to find the cause but it's hard to pinpoint, I still suspect the code block that imports the stats (the one that originated in DPSMeter).

The problem is definitely in the LUA plugin, for now I guess the workaround is to restart the plugin every couple of hours (/plugins unload and /plugins load lotrolcd).

I'll try isolating the cause over the course of the next few days, and keep you posted.

Was turning off the plugin enough to fix the FPS?
If so does the FPS drop again if you start the plugin again?

Well here's some SS of what happens. Note the FPS just above the travel window.
