Like what? Best as you don't know the ui elements names is to post a pic and point at them in the pic.

The default quickslot bar is supposed to be in the middle of the screen at the bottom. The issue with Lotro UI is as soon as you change the toolbar size it messes the quickslot and default bar.

You can fix it editing the xml file, just toy with the Edit SkinDefinition.xls file that's in the Yessh folder.

Ok, it seems I did have the 2.4 folders there also. It fixed the eye and main bar, and nixed the lotro store and bag graphics away. Only thing is the other bars are still high and out of line.
I can't test in your resolution as my monitor doesn't support it

Please post a pic and note the center of your screen on it

Please disregard, some other weirdness and it corrects itself. However, when I change the main tool bar smaller it goes up getting smaller instead of down and ends up in the lower middle of my screen. Anyway to changed that?

Re: Having Ui issues

Author here,

regarding your pic I would say you have both 2.4 and 2.5 versions in your Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\UI\Skins\Yessh folder and it's the 2.4 that's selected.

Maybe delete the Yessh folder and reinstall the version 2.5. I just downloaded it and it seems fine.

Having Ui issues

I'm fairly new to Lotro, really new to customizing it's interface, and brand spankin' new on this site...oh and I'm having issues with the Yessh 2.5 UI. I've "tried" some of the alterations to the 1920x1200 Skin Definition file that previous posters have suggested. My laughable attempts managed to get the eye centered away, but unfortunately I made no progress towards the Lotro store icon, 2 of the bag icons, and small graphics normally located around the default ui. Also however, the three actionbars located above the main are also out of line.

As I am a more visual learned I decided to take a SS and show what elements of the UI I'm having problems with. I should probably also not that I have the UI set to 1920x1200 v2.5, but I play in windowed mode.

UI

Edit: Wow, I'm blind. Now that I've played a little while longer with it, it seems the none of the bars, main bar/xp included or eye are actually centered.

Updated to F2P

Note: there aren't optional vitals. The vitals change depending on the type of targeted mod.

Re: Re: i did

I didn't look in the code but with the following:

<Element ID="Toolbar_WebstoreButton" X="1" Y="1" Width="1" Height="1" />

The webstore button should be hidden. What's your entry for the WebstoreButton?

Hello,

You haven't been forgotten but I'm running out of time lately, so much that I wasn't even able to log into the beta when it was running.

I would say follow Sapereaudo and Ignotus hints below and it should fix any resolutions. I'll try to find some time to update the UI but it might be in a long time.

D.

Got It Working Again!

Excellent, thank you for the response. I also play at 1680x1050. I use Windows XP however, but using your instructions, I was able to figure it out and get my interface repaired. The only thing that I had to change was the store button step. I placed the line you specified after the first occurrence of /element, but the store button persisted. I then moved the line and placed it after the third occurrence of /element, which put it right above the following line in my xml file:
<Element ID="ToolBarButton_MainMenu" X="615" Y="1039" Width="450" Height="8" />
I basically grouped it with the "toolbarbutton" entries and it worked. My reasoning was that the store button is part of the toolbar and appears right after the toolbar buttons in the default UI, so I figured I'd try adding it there. Regardless, it wouldn't have been possible without your input. Thanks again.

PS. Figured I'd add a screenshot of my file in case someone wants to see it to help repair their own file. What's in the red squares is what I added to fix my UI.
