This is a program that I have made to capture panning timelapses of locations in LoTRO.
I had parts of it lying around for a while, and have recently added a very basic UI so that I could share it.
And example of how it can be used is here
At the moment it is only tested to work with Windows 10 and makes use of windows+prtScreen, because I wanted to avoid sending keypresses to the LoTRO client where possible.
I do have a compiled version on my laptop, however I'm not sure how kindly people take to .exe files here
This means that to run the program, you will need to have installed the python interpreter first from here
This program is able to use your mouse/keyboard, however you can still control them at the same time. If there are any issues (for example setting the program to pan too quickly, so that you can't move the mouse against it if you want to) ctrl+alt+delete is your friend
You should use this at your own risk, however shutting your computer down is a last resort that will stop the script if it is not doing as intended.
I have PMed Cordovan about the program moving the mouse and this was his response that meant I felt able to share the program here:
"Under a strict definition this might be a violation, but ultimately we care about intention and impact rather than technical definition. I don't think this would be an issue to have the mouse look pan regularly for the purposes of a good panoramic screenshot."
I hope this can be of use to people!
