Kmabc 1.4 Is Out Now
Kmabc 1.4 is now out! - Please note, this is the last release i am planning to do and therefore i will not be releasing any new versions (at least for a long while) this means that no new features will be implemented. I will however try to fix any bugs that people find however make no promices that i will release any patches... Also no mod installer will be released due to many issues however I hope that the documentation provided is enough to help people install any mods that 'may' be made. Thanks for downloading!

about:

• This plugin is designed to make the switching of instruments and playing of songs easier for users,
• The plugin was made from an original bar which was a very basic version of tonicbars, and after a while I decided to add music functions to it as my kinship on the Laurelin server (which was disbanded (but restarted)) was starting its own band and many players were having trouble with the /play ___ sync functions.

Installation Info:

Plugin Compendium:
Kmabc 1.3 adds an official PluginCompendium file.

This allows you to select KMABC and update it without the hassle of putting files in the wrong place.

Download For First Time:

• Download to your \lordoftheringsonline\plugins folder,
• extract here, (so it says "queekus plugins" as a sub-folder)
• start LOTRO,
• and in chat enter: /plugins load kmabc - 1.2 and higher ONLY
• or go to the plugins manager and open it there.

Update Previous Version:

• Download to your \lordoftheringsonline\plugins folder,
• Remove queekusplugin folder (if I release any new plugins then delete just the KMABC folder inside the queekusplugin folder and kmabc.plugin file)
• if you only remove the kmabc file and folder then go back to your \lordoftherings\plugins folder for the next step else ignore this step
• extract here, (so it says "queekus plugins" as a sub-folder)
• start LOTRO,
• and in chat enter: /plugins load kmabc - 1.2 and higher ONLY
• or go to the plugins manager and open it there.

Developer Info:

• Version 1.4 is pretty much finished now, all that needs finishing is the mod installer and i'll release for Beta. here's a video i made just before i made the decision to pill 1.5 and 1.4 together into 1.4's release: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zr3Q4u5SYHQ
• 1.4 will be the last major release, all future releases will be bugfixes and minor updates when I feel like it... thanks for supporting Kmabc, I feel that there's not much more I can do with this project now so unless you have any ideas I will slowly stop development here.

Trivia:

• In 1.1 Resource Update with a little code hacking, German clients can show the plugin, but there will be no text in any of the boxes!
• If you code hack green into 1.2 the colours will be very off (why I left it out)!
• The plugin was never designed to be what it is today, it started out as being a set of quick-slots I could set for use during fellowships. I decided to make it a music player because i used it for my instruments more than any other skill.
• The UI buttons had to be changed to Gray scale for colours to be re-implemented. They have changed slightly because the conversion from blue to grey didn't go perfectly, but they are still fine for now.
• In 1.2 The reason 2 of the images have an x at the end of their names is due to the fact that LOTRO hangs onto the old instance of images and so to change the image you need to change the names. To keep all of the names (MOSTLY) uniform I added the x to the end. I may fix this in 1.3 with more colours and bug-fixes.
• From start to finish, saving and loading took approximately 2 months! (Work time only! Not including time spent not programming saving and loading specifically)

AND (FOR KMABC 1.3) ADD A SIMILAR LINE TO

(I called my *.lua options for now)

Note: if anyone makes a patch/addon for this, can they send me a copy so that I can update the main download file, credit will also be given.

This does not include addons for colours and languages that will be available in 1.3
