When loading a New Skin or an existing Skin all I see is everything in Red Squares... What is going on?

Thanks.

This was all I really needed to see, and the name of the skin you are trying, which also fails for me. Now to find out why.....

EDIT: okay, to get the skins to load, you will need to edit the SkinDefinition.xml file for each one manually to fix a minor problem. Search each one for the following entry:

Code:
<Mapping ArtAssetID="fellow_voiceenabled_squelched" aFileName="Frames\voice_squelch.tga"></Mapping>
change aFileName to just FileName.

Now I need to fix my app to not throw an exception while handling another

Are you getting any error messages when you try to open one? Which mods are you looking at?

the ui ive tried are http://www.lotrointerface.com/downlo...ckFadeWIP.html
and it throws up this message

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Interesting. I have put in a lot of exception handling code to try to ensure any issues can be easily found. I run it on both Vista 64 and Vista 32, so I don't think its 64 bit issue.

Sadly I don't have a Win7 machine to test it on.

I will look to add a bit more exception handling to the next version, and maybe find out what is happening.

Loved the tool before....

....sadly now it won't even open on my 64bit windows 7 machine.

why is something like that in the spotlight ? it even doesnt work corectly at the moment cause of the missing f2p compatibility. would be nice if this tool would be portet to the f2p changes.
