Right clicking on a UI Element within the Element Navigation would pop up a context menu with the following options:

Copy UI Element's Name: Copy the UI Element's name to the clipboard.

Copy Full Path: Copies the entire structure path name for the selected UI Element from the UI Panel's name on down. Example: A>B>C>D>E

Copy partial path: Copies only the first and last elements of a UI Elements path name. Example: A>...>E

Copy Art Asset filenames: Copies all of the art asset filenames associated with the UI Element.

Copy structure: Would create a XML code snippet containing just the selected UI Element's XML structure along with any children. It would not include any parent or sibling code. How complete this code might be I'll leave to you (fully annotated if being excerpted from someone else's skin/mod, or just immediately relevant XML code, inclusion of art asset mapping, etc).

To be honest, the whole point of the editor is an attempt to make it unnecessary to access the XML data directly. What is the reasoning for this feature? Copying panel data from one skin to another?

Primarily I was thinking about it's use for information sharing between skinners of differing knowledge and skill levels among forum discussions. Rather than constantly having to create or search for examples, experienced skinners could just cut & paste them from their existing skins. More info, less work.

Although of less concern, some users might want to create a custom skin compilation by importing/exporting (cut & paste) a one-off mod via the clipboard. The ability to remain within a single application would simplify things. This lesser concern is why I forgot to include "Paste Structure" in the original request. /blush. Please consider this feature as well.

I don't believe further modding support is needed because more dedicated tools might handle things better (BuildSkin for performing major skin alterations).
