Add an Expand/Collapse button (per displayed element only, not entire SkinDefinition). This would help navigating to sub-sections of complex panels.

Do you mean in the Element Navigation panel of the editor? Or in the skindefinition.xml file?

Or do you mean a keyboard shortcut to expand collapse the tree in the navigation panel?

Just need a bit of clarification.

I meant within the Element Navigation panel. A keyboard shortcut would be handy though.

One last clarification, did you mean an Expand All/Collapse All button?

To be accurate I'm imagining an Expand/Collapse Selected Branch.

The user would select a single item within the Element Navigation. On button press that element would expand/collapse that entire branch of the tree view. This would include any child containers within that branch. Selecting non-container items would disable the button(s). Selecting the highest level parent would provide expand/collapse all functionality.

Here is an example with a sample tree. Select an element in the left column and the functionality seen within the right column occurs.
