looking for a widescreen mod for a non wide monitor.

title says it all. i remember in WoW i had a mod that allowed the emulation of a widescreen UI. i wouldnt even mind if i had to sacrifice 2" above and below just to get that widescreen vista that looks so incredible in LotRO...

now im no programmer but couldnt something be done to alter code to cut out two strips into black and then tell the options to use a widescreen resolution that must sit within the parameters givin by the mod?

any info would be much obliged.

You could try playing with the Resolution and Aspect Ratio settings in the Graphics options.
