Camera Control or "Faux" Camera Control

I'm probably asking the impossible here, but I don't know if what I'm asking is feasible "another way".

In short, I sometimes want my screenshots with my character off-centre. Yes, I can crop them, but then you lose context/scenery, and then they're also not at full resolution.

I don't know if plugins can access the camera (or if there are security reasons why they can't).

Could it be feasible another way, like with a 'window' that captures the scene but panned across a bit?

Sorry if my imagination is beyond what LOTRO can do!

Sorry, not possible. You can rotate the camera, raise and lower it or change the camera distance from character and whether it follows terrain or sits at a fixed angle, but those are all within the client. Plugins have no access to the camera.

I understand what you mean! I'm always taking screenshots in LOTRO, and wishing I had a drone. Actually, there are characters in the story that have spying birds and bats. That's an excuse to ask SSG to figure that out.
And what about the Great Eagles who help out here and there. Maybe they could be bribed with a worm or two.
The hard part must be the programming, of which I know diddly squat, so I had better shut up now...

Oh! I do have a cheesy way to do it. I bring the camera up, so I'm looking out of it. I can't see myself, so I just go anywhere and screenie away. I'm not in the snapshot, so that's a problem. Then there is turning the camera around to look at my *ahem* face. If you don't want to be seen, just hide behind a tree.
