When working on Lotro plugins, AI assistants such as Copilot and ChatGPT-4 understand Lotro Lua and can provide suggestions and sample code. Just prefix your question with "In Lotro Lua ..." so it knows the context. Sometimes it will refer to an API method from another version of Lua and you need to tell it that it isn't defined so it will try again.

The examples of such AI-created LOTRO plugin code that I've examined have been lifted 100% from existing plugins, right down to the author comments. Not the user's fault but ChatGPT or whatever other AI is used has no compunction against plagiarism.
