Not sure if this would help at all, but I usually set up my main quickslot bar with skills bound to 0-9 on the numpad, then control+0-9 for the second row, and so on (I never play music, so I can overwrite the keys for the music interface). Keeps everything neat and organized, heh. Of course, this only works if you have 10 skills or so for each "section," otherwise you need to get more creative, I guess.
