Interfaces with Vista
Hello all,
I have tried 4 or 5 interfaces, all unzipping to my Lord of the Rings Online folder. I have followed the tutorial. However none of my interfaces come up in Settings in game. It just says "None" Here's the deal however. I do not have a "Documents and Settings" folder. I am on Vista, so my path is C:\Users\USERNAME\The Lord of the Rings Online\ui\skins\INTERFACE NAMES\ Is there something I am missing or doing wrong? Any Vista users out there? |
The correct path is c:\Users\*Username*\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\ui\skins in Windows Vista.
I am running my skins from that location and they work fine. Good Luck getting it to work! |
Ahhh most excellent. I will try that. I have had Vista a whole 2 days now, including this morning. Forgive my ignorance, and thanks again.

I have the same problem as Exo, none of the skins i install come up as options ingame.
I have installed my LotRO game in a totally different folder, does that mean that I am unable to use any custom UI's?? Malaari |
No, the installation path of the game and the ui skins are different. I have my LoTRO installed on my D: drive, while the skins still go to my C: drive (as thats where windows defaults your document folder to)
|
Lol I finally figured it out! :)
I thought that the ui/skins folder should be inside the game folder too! like it is in Everquest and WoW! I didn't realise that LoTRO had created a whole new folder inside the C:\......\documents..... folder! :p /smack forehead... :D Malaari |
