string ID of the Gorgoroth map

Hello, a friend is working on an update patch for RTPlugin, to finalize it, he needs the hexadecimal string code of the Gorgoroth map.

As I'm not familiar enough with plugins I fail to help him to find this ressource :o

Thank you and have a good year 2019 :)

Hi Adra,

Plateau of Gorgoroth is 0x411b84d4

FWIW, all of the map image resource IDs can be found in default.lua in the MoorMap plugin (well U23 maps aren't there since I've been too busy to update it yet but the rest are).

Please make sure he includes this patch in which I added "The Wastes". Then I will delete my patch and refer users to his new one.

Thanks you both very much for your awesome quick answers :)

yes Thurallor, your wastelands patch hasn't been forgotten ;)

Do you intend to upload it here as a patch? If not, I'll do it.

I dont see a point in making 'new' patch, think it would be better if you could update yours. Thanks.

Thurallor 01-02-2019 08:21 PM

My existing patch is called "RT Plugin: The Wastes". That would not be an appropriate name for the new patch.

Hi, I brought minor changes to 4andreas update patch, especially concerning the localized tabs for french lotro client and kinmate Samoured's Gorgoroth coordinates organized by region (in the text file I mean).
If you wanna re-upload it from your own account, just let me know and, of course, I'll remove it :)

I uploaded it as a patch on RTPlugin main page :

filename : Patch_RTPlugin_Northern_Mirkwood.zip

patch version number 1.7.1b

RTPlugin credits : Mathwold

RTPlugin update credits : Thurallor, 4andreas

Drono 01-03-2019 09:09 AM

Thanks for the upload, i dont mind it.

I have suggested for Thurallor to update it because i think you can change name while updating. It would make more sense to me since the patch would keep its url.

Adra 01-03-2019 11:01 AM

Indeed, using the same full url including filename would have been interesting for keeping old external forum links up-to-date.

There is a second "weak point" for this update : As a simple patch, it cannot be detected and installed by Lotro plugin compendium.

But I'm convinced active communities interested by roving threats will communicate the link faster than light :)

Hi! I was wondering how one can get this value when the game is updated, and new maps are included. Is it documented somewhere, or is game files analysis required to find it ?

Game file analysis is possible but not needed, explanation from Garan can be found in this thread: https://www.lotrointerface.com/forum...ead.php?t=3860

I see, thank you for the link ! :)
