Quest Helper

Hi there,

I was wondering if there was a Quest helper overlay for Lord of the Rings Online at all?

Something simmilar to the quest overlay from WoWCurse for WoW.

Please don't flame if this is a frowned upon overlay I only wish to ask :)

Thanks

Bob

As of yet there is no capability what so ever for "smart" mods/addons for LOTRO. Lotro interface authors can only make skins that change replace reposition art Textures. No real (if any) way of writing code that has if, then, elseif, etc.. only XML. If they did make true "smart" mods like QH functional then it would be in another big patch a long ways down the road.

Btw I've used Quest Helper before on WoW and it sure did make things rather simple (or at least it eliminated the need for alt-tabbing to a browser for allakhazam/thottbot/wowhead/other quest database sites)

Sorry for the slow response..
May the stars watch over you.

Quest Helper

I am a avid WoW player. Time is limited for me and I have found the Quest helper mods very helpful in allowing me to be much more efficient with my time. Will the LOTRO developers ever allow something like this? I have stopped playing LOTRO for this reason. It takes way to much time.

thanks,
:)

It isn't allowed currently and I doubt they'll allow it in the future. Quest logs are usually pretty informative but sometimes you need help finding the locations. I use two websites when I get lost. Hope this helps.
