Where to start?

I need an addon that holds the right mouse button down at all times with the exception of a toggle key that releases it so you can click objects or interact with ui elements.

I wouldn't mind trying to make this myself, but I'm having trouble finding any tutorials.

That functionality can't be implemented.

However, if you still want to write plugins for LOTRO, Garan's newbie guide is the best place to start.

Because the Lua API for LotRO does not expose that functionality. We can detect mouse events but we can not generate mouse events for the client.
