update 11 patch problem
 

Since the patch for update 11, my ui skins are not being recognized and are not selectable. they are in the correct folder but it appears the game just is not looking for them or something. Any1 know what went wrong?::eek:

I had the same problem with one of my skins. I opened up SkinDefinition.xml and re-saved the file and it worked after that. I don't know if it will work for you or not.

I appreciate the advice but to be honest, i have no idea where to find the skindefinition.xml file. I followed instructions off of youtube to set up the ui and skins folders in my ddo file located within my mydocuments folder. I could recopy my info blue into the folder if you could tell me where i might locate it. thx.
I just checked your web site and noticed it is geared to lotro, I tried to recopy into what i believe is the ddo equivilent folder and it did not work. This doesnt seem to be just effecting me. In game everyone who uses one of these skins have had them disabled as of the patch.

I am on WinSvr2008 but it is the same for Win7.

My SkinDefinition.xml file is in the directory of:
C:\Users\(YOURUSERNAME)\Documents\Dungeons and Dragons Online\ui\skins\(NAMEOFSKIN)

I opened them in notepad and just resaved them. Closed the game and restarted. But the skins are still not reading.

Will mess with it this weekend when I get time. If noone else answers before me, I will post if I get an answer.
