Time in the game

2 question.

1- It is possible to see the time in game. I don't have see nothing about that in the interface (little panel whit the current time ...) and I don't have found a command for this too (like /time ...).

2- Question whit the possibility then Turbine offer whit is GUI. It is only possible to skin the interface, or can we create a advance module (like a panel indicating the time :D). At the same time, can we create a command too (like /time :D:D).

At the moment there is no way to tell In-Game time, but you can tell real time by typing /localtime

As for question 2, you can only Skin the UI currently, and are unable to create modules or edit the UI in any fashion. This may change, but as to when *shrugs* everyone will find out at the same time hehe.

You asked if you can create commands, so I am assuming macros? They call them aliases, and here are a few links to get you going...

On the official LotRO forums...

And on LotRO Warcry (if this isn't OK to post here, please remove it!)

Hope that helps!!

I'm not sure why everyone thinks they need to know what time it is in-game...it makes no difference at all to the game-play. The only two times that anyone ever needs to be worried about is day time and night time. All you have to do is look at the sky to tell which is which. ;)

The reason people are wanting to know what the game-time is because there are 3 quests in and around Bree that you can only do at night. Not knowing how long till nightfall causes some people to stand aimlessly around waiting, which in turn causes some people to be rude and jump in front of others that have been waiting longer to do the quest.

Another reason would be roleplaying arguments. Who doesn't want to know which time it is? :-)

LOL - I sure have done the waiting bit. The first time was the ghost in Bree. There were 3 of us waiting. We had never met before and landed up having a great time testing out all the emotes. :) That aside, an in game timer would be a nice feature- imo.

I thought I heard that in the first content patch there will be an ingame clock. :-)
