Resizing the UI

Ok, a really noob question. I have scoured all over your site and even taken a bit of time to look at the Turbine forums and still have not found a direct answer to this. I am not too familiar with coding, but I have muddled my way through a few things...so I am hoping that the same can be done here...

Is there a way to resize the interface....any of them, including the downloaded ones, so that I can use it on a smaller scale...it sucks that most of the screen is taken up by the UIs...My current monitor only allows for 800x600 (flat panel television), and it is awesome to play on but I just cant seem to resize any of it...like the map...I would love to be able to reduce that annoyance in the corner to, say, half its size. And the only part of the UI so far that I have found that can be removed period is the quest tracker...so what gives...is there a way to fool in the coding to reduce it, or is there a way to adjust it in the menus that I am just not seeing?

Any help, even a direct "no" if there is not a way, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

So I guess that this means that I wont be playing this game until they do do something with it.
