Hi all,

I recently started to make my first ui skin for lotro

so far the work went pretty well,
but now i have some questions/problems:

1. I have a problem with xp bar dosnt get showed, i want to place it in the right bottom edge, but i cant get it working

2. does any1 know the ArtAssetID`s of the background images in the outfit tab ?

3. (how) can i change the size of the side elements of the "base box tilebar" ?
i would like to have it 40x28 px, but when i change the size of the image it gets cut

4. (how) can i deactivate the portrait in the player vitals ?

and please post youre opinion or sugesstions

Pwitty Elvish skin! :)

- I personally haven't changed anything to the code of the XP bar, so it remains unchanged in my skin and so untouched :)
- Outfit tabs aren't skinned to my knowledge.
- You can try to change the size of the title bar.. I haven't bothered, and just altered my graphics to it.
- In UI settings you can turn of 3D portraits. It ill be covered then with something. You cannot leave it completely out of the UI, to my knowledge.

Could you make a version with a main bar just in the bottom middle? :) I'm used to have it there. I'd find it rather uncomfortable to find it on a different place on screen :)

I very much like the skin. Prolly will be using it instead of Kuvasie's Spirit of Elfwood. Funny to see my deed book has inspired others :)
May I also suggest to do something with the ring of the RADAR/Minimap? :)

the only way Ive found is to resize to W="1" H+"1"

New screen, without portrait and name at the player vitals, will prob remove the lvl aswell

new vitals are now finished and working fine:


new minimap finished: (will place the buttons at the right side as soon as we get the right IDīs for them)



but now i noticed another problem, my bag overlay image dosnt work

think this is the right ArtAssetID, any1 an idea why it dosnt get displayed ingame ? (alpha layer is correct)

Are you going to make the bottom bar invisible so we can stack all the hotbars next to each other and on top?

i will make 3. different mainbar versions

1. original mainbar (only some small graphic changes)


2. mainbar at the right sie of the screen, quickslots on right bottom

3. complete invisible mainbar, buttons will get visible when mousover

Well of course you're still not done with the vitals, you still need a good signature, and a Defender and Avenger, and Nemesis and Arch-Nemesis, and a Swarm. The ones you have look great, though.
