Whats on the table post retail launch?

I hate addressing developers in the title, it sounds like Ima begging ;)

Whats in store Frosty? The community here Im sure isnt going to hold you to exact nails and glue, just prodding for "whats cooking?".

Do you have a priority list?

You may have already seen this, in which case disregard, with my apologies. Beyond that, I'll leave it for Frosty to answer. :)

Thanks Cairenn, no I didnt catch that.

Thats a broad roadmap, Im hoping for a burger joint or two to stop at...

(ie; map/radar ring, moveable bottom bar, you know, with fries and a coke. Or even... a Frosty! LOL!) <--- Couldnt help the bad Wendy's reference! :p

Bad jokes like that at my expense are punishable by... hmm, something nasty.

As you might imagine, I can't give out specifics of when and what other than the post Cairenn already linked. Something is coming month 1, and it's not scripting. Beyond that, the crystal ball is a little cloudy. I'm not even going to dangle a the usual "developer carrot" here and make a "happy fun guess" about what's coming next. When I can be more specific about the "way unspecified future" I will be ;)

meh, I'm tempted to volunteer for developing the scripting system at this point :)
I'm sure it's a matter of time and resources.
Whistle for volunteers if you need ;P

It's not so much that the scripting system for the UIs needs to be implemented, it's getting the engine set up to accept and be able to use that information. We know how much work it would take to implement it in the existing engine (at least we think we do) so we have to weigh that against all different kinds of priorities: our internal toolset, new features and content that users are asking for, developing faster data patching strategies, etc. Unfortunately, it's not a matter of just handing the project off to someone and have them work on it... remember, Turbine actually has TWO mmos to support out there. Well, three actually, but only DDO and LOTRO are running on the same "version" of the engine, AC1 is on it's own private development effort.
