Reposition of quickbars
Hi!
I would really appreciate the ability to define the position for each additional quickbar as you can do with the default one. The option to also move the docking point for the quickbars would be really nice. Removing the graphics between the default quickbar and the additional quickbars now makes a gap wich would be nice to get rid off. Regards |
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding you, but you can move the positions of all the quickbars. You'll maybe want to go into Options>>Quickslots and uncheck "Dock Bar X" for each bar you want to move. This allows you to turn them vertical, horizontal, line them up, overlap them,,,pretty much however you want to move them.
If you knew all that, then my apologies. Now, change where they dock? That would be nice...something akin to StickyBars like in WoW... If you slide one bar close enough tot he edge of another, they'll "sticky" and the second will dock to the first and line up perfectly. I'll vote for that. |
I do think a clarification is needed .
What I meant was that the interface author should be able to give an exact coordinate for each bar as you already can do with the default bar. Today you can do this: <ElementID="Toolbar_Quickslot"X="476"Y="38"Width="420"Height="34" /> And I want to do this: <ElementID="Toolbar_Quickslot"X="476"Y="38"Width="420"Height="34" /> <ElementID="Toolbar_Quickbar1"X="476"Y="38"Width="420"Height="34" /> <ElementID="Toolbar_Quickbar2"X="476"Y="38"Width="420"Height="34" /> <ElementID="Toolbar_Quickbar3"X="476"Y="38"Width="420"Height="34" /> <ElementID="Toolbar_Quickbar4"X="476"Y="38"Width="420"Height="34" /> <ElementID="Toolbar_Quickbar5"X="476"Y="38"Width="420"Height="34" /> This would be as an alternative to the default docking mode and the manually repositining of the bars. |
Gotcha!
I agree with that too. lol To be able to define the position, size, and fill direction of each bar in the SkinDefinition.xml |
Yeah!
A couple of more attributes to the XML element: Direction=vertical|horisontal Set the drawing order Dock=yes|no|auto Should the bar be docked: (yes) docked and thus automaticly positioned, {no} controlled by the author or {user} manually set by the user (as it works today). Split=true|false Defines if the bar should be split in half... easier form of the next two attributes Rows=n * Sets the maximum number of rows the bar should be made up of Cols=n * Sets the maximum number of icons one row of the bar can contain * This modification would add a great deal of complexity with keymappings and other functions and therefore isn't so likely to be implemented. |
