JPEG Files Crashing Windows Explorer
I have a corrupted .jpeg file in my folder that I'm working on. Whenever I scroll over it when trying to open any file from that folder it crashes windows explorer or whatever program I happen to be running to work with those files.

I have identified which file it is by scrolling slowly through the folder, one file at a time. Yet the problem remains that I can't do anything about it, because to even look at it crashes whatever program I am using to do so. I have tried replacing the file by copying and pasting the original uncorrupt one from the folder containing all the original files, but even that crashes everything.

can you open a command shell and type:

del <path_to_file>\corrupt_jpeg.jpg

edit: obviously, fill in your own path and file info :P

FYI, He resolved the issue in another forum thread.
He switched it to thumbnail view and then could delete it. Would have seemed like the thumbnail view was causing the problem, guess not. /Shrug

Here is the other thread.

I would have moved all the good files out and deleted the FOLDER.
