Travel Window II
Since Thaliruth wanted to stop supporting the plugin, and I have returned to playing LOTRO I will be reaching out to him for taking back further development, as I have done that before him. I actually am planning more of a rewrite that will be uploaded as Travel Window II. Please let me know what bugs are currently in need of a fix and what features could be added.
For now, my beta version fixes the High Elf racial that is broken in U28.2, cleans up some English and German text, and has re-enabled the Gondor/Rhovannion/Eriador maps with overlayed skills. This will be uploaded in a few min for testing. Other than fixing bugs, some features I would like to implement: - permanent fix for options window at low resolutions - smarter sorting or ability to mark skills as favourite for easier finding in list - re-enable adding the glan vraig map - potentially adding inventory scanning so festival maps can become part of list - ability to customize travel window icon Keep bug reports and feature ideas coming. Welcome back and thank you :)
I fixed some errors on the french translation file here, should be bug free as far as I know for 28.2 : https://uptobox.com/ehfmyfmtljoe There is a special space character for Thorin's gate map beside the " : ". |

Patches can be submitted straight to https://github.com/wduda/TravelWindowII as well. |
AS feature, closing the window when escape key is pressed would be great ;)

New version of Travel Window sound awesome! Been using it for years and can't live without it. Thanks so much for retaking the coding! Wish you a merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year! :)

Hooray!
I'm glad it's not just me. I've also been having sorting issues on my main toons, but now that I just started playing a hunter for the first time, I'm noticing a lot more problems with guides and returns, etc. I'm so happy and grateful for you for taking over this project and am really looking forward to TWII. Thank you and Happy New Year! :D

New version v1.0.5beta is out.

Thank you for your efforts to maintain and update this plugin. I am relatively new to plugins other than some skins. I downloaded the latest 1.05 beta Travel Window II and placed it in the plugins folder. When I try to load the plugin in game I get the following message and the plugin does not load. What does this mean and what am I doing wrong?
... Online\Plugins\DhorPlugins\Travel\TravelWindow.lua :1029: table index is nil Thanks for your help. |

The plugin you should have, from Hyoss, is called TravelWindowII and can be downloaded from here: https://www.lotrointerface.com/downl...fo.php?id=1113 The pathing should look like this on a Mac: ~/Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/TravelWindowII and like this on a Windows box: Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\Plugins\TravelWindowII |
JohnHammer is almost right, what happens is you need to run
Code:
/plugins load "Travel Window II" You are running the command that loads the old Travel Window and that is why the path says DhorPlugins/Travel and not TravelWindowII/src. |
I had the latest version installed, but as you called it I was using the wrong load command, and I wasn't using the quotes.
Thanks for straightening me out! It is working now. |

New version updates will from now on be posted on the plugin page and https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthr...avel-Window-II
