Making more space on the screen

I play the game in one of the lowest resolutions possible to reduce lag, but this sometimes lead to alot of things on the screen, which leads to me sometimes feeling like it's too cluttered.

Is there any tips I can take or examples of a good way to lay out everything to where I can see the world well but also see the information I need? Also, what's a good interface to help with this that still looks stylish?

hmm I can suggest http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info18-nui.html to clear up some space at the bottom of the screen.

and perhaps look for some quickslot plugin that will hide buttons if you're not in combat or so..

UI scale

Also remember you can change the scale of various UI elements in Options/UI Settings and then scroll all the way to the bottom.

I didn't know there could be something to hide certain things in combat.

I've tried shrinking the UI scaling a bit, but it still feels a bit crowded at times.

Thanks for the info so far.

http://lotrointerface.com/downloads/...TonicBars.html

TonicBars can:
  • Organize skills, items, mounts, pets, and more onto Quick-Bars for easy access.
  • Trigger those bars to display under certain circumstances.
    • In-combat
    • Poisoned
    • Wounded
    • Feared
    • Diseased
    • Alt-Pressed
    • Control-Pressed
    • Shift-Pressed
    • Health Drops below some Percentage
    • Power Drops below some Percentage
