Here is my question,

im wanting to configure my quickslot buttons different ways for soloing / grouping / raiding etc.

Is there ANY way to have the layouts saved so I can load them using the /ui command ? ( or any other way? )

It would make sense that this should be saved with the /ui layout save command but this doesnt appear to be the case.

( this would also be great for testing out other UIs so see if you like the way things are organized better or not.

Any and all help would be great thanked.

/ui layout save ;)

you can add different sets by adding a name after the comment:

/ui layout save set1
/ui layout save anotherset
/ui layout save mylayout

and load them with /ui layout load <name>

First off thank you for your reply, and i LOVE your UI. Its pretty and functional and i love it.

That being said, ive tried the /ui command. It saves how i have things positioned, but DOESNT save specific quickslot bar layouts.

IE, I set up the quick bars one way with buttons set one way and save it as test1.

I then move the hot keys around and save THAT layout as test2.

If I think reload test1, the hot keys stay in the order they were saved last as ( in this case test2 ).

I think the quick slot sets are saved in another file totally independant of the /ui save sets.

Sigh, wonder how hard it would be to get em to save that info inside each /ui configuration.

What hotkeys are on which buttons are actually saved server-side rather than client-side.

I think Turbine partially has it set up that way so that you can log in from anywhere and your stuff will be in the same slots, but no amount of moving and saving will help you there. That data is saved on their end rather than yours.
