Could anyone make a video on what elements, programs, etc. you need to start making and editing your own interfaces, and give an example on how to use them? Like a tutorial. Would really help me out :>

ok.. im working on a small guide to customize my UI but I don't think there will be video from my part :)

software I use are basically:

Notepad++ @ http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm
it's a free text editor with a support of XML color coding

Photoshop
there are free options out there im sure.


I still think that try'n'error is the best way to learn to edit the lotro's xml file. It's not that complex to figure out as it's basically just changing the default values to something else.

Youtube is full of photoshop learning guides.

That would be great m8, I would also like to know how you get this NotTransparent (http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i22/Madfishk/transpcopy.jpg) into something like this Transparent (http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i22/Madfishk/transp3copy.jpg).
So the white becomes transparent and not block the view on my skin.

That's Alpha Layers. Works the same as a Mask Layer. Black = 100% transparant. White = 0%.
