View Full Version : LOTRO API updated for high elves?

I am wondering if the API will be updated for High Elves, especially if

player = Turbine.Gameplay.LocalPlayer.GetInstance();
playerRace = player.GetRace();

will work at all and if

Turbine.Gameplay.Race.RACENAME

will work for them. Currently away from a machine where I could install Bullroarer to test.

I wasn't able to unlock High Elves on Bullroarer - they don't show up in the store on Bullroarer, at least not for me - so I'm not sure they can even be tested yet. The preview might just be the Mordor environment.

EDIT: After reading the Bullroarer release notes, the High Elf race is indeed locked for the first preview, so no way to test yet.

The limited success I've had with getting Turbine/SSG to fix Lua bugs has been when I submitted bugs from Bullroarer. If they add high elves to BR next week, that might be the best/only opportunity to get them to pay attention to Lua support for it.

Good news, both of those features are working on Bullroarer.
