One thing I noticed is how much space all the UI elements take up. It would me nice to be able to scale various parts of the UI, including that semi-truck steering wheel they call the mini map. I'm sure this could easily be done, and I'm sure someones working on it already but if not, that's one of my suggestions. Also it would be great to be able to collapse the whole right side of the quest log and put a quick discription of the quest right under the title in the log. Of course with the option to expand the right side to get more information when you need it. Not sure if that one would be a simple task or not but sure would make room for all the nice environment thats currently being blocked off by all the UI.

Thanks for the help to anyone working on any of this. :)

Unfortunately, none of what you want is currently possible. We've good reason to believe it will be possible, to some degree or another, at some point down the road, but we aren't there just yet.

That's no fun. :( So what are the modding capabilities at the moment? Just skinning? Is it because Turbine won't allow it?

Aye, just skinning at the moment, and yes, because their engine doesn't currently allow anything more. Read more about what we can (hopefully) look forward to further down road here (http://www.lotrointerface.com/forums/showpost.php?p=588&postcount=5), by Frosty.
