The OPL Plugin Window

Description
OrderedPluginLoader is a simple plugin which allows you to load any number of plugins in any given order.

This can be useful since certain plugins don't play well with other plugins due to changes to the LUA scripting in the November 2010 Update.

In order to use this plugin, download the .ZIP file to your Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins folder. If that folder does not exist, you will need to create it in your 'The Lord of the Rings Online folder' first. Afterwards, extract the .ZIP file (make sure the extracted folder and files go into the Plugins folder).

Load OPL by typing "/plugins load opl" into the game chat window.

To set the plugins you wish to load, first bring up the OPL Plugin Window by typing "/opl show" (without quotes) into the game chat window. The window that opens allows you to select which plugins you want to load (use the check mark boxes on the left). The plugins will then appear on the right, this is the order they will load. You can select a plugin and move it up or down in the list. Once you are satisfied, click the "Re/Load Plugins" button near the bottom. It will unload all plugins (other that OPL) and then reload them in the desired order. If you notice any problems with your plugins, you may need to re-order the loading list.

Afterwards, you can close this window. The next time you load OPL it will automatically load your plugins in your desired order. If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thank you!

Version History:

v1.0 (2-21-2011) Initial Release
v1.5 (2-27-2011) Updated Plugin to allow commands, for easier setting/removing, and listing loaded plugin orders.
v1.6 (2-28-2011) Fixed a major bug that prevented the data from saving/loading correctly, and a minor bug that prevented the /opl List command from actually returning the list.
V2.0 (6-13-2011) Updated the plugin with a GUI.

Current Known Issues:

For whatever reason, when you load OPL you'll get this message prior to it actually loading: "Failed to resolve package ""." I have no idea what this means and I can't seem to get it to go away... oddly enough it appeared after I finished all the coding and I can't find anything I changed that would have caused it to appear... Any help would be appreciated but I have not found any problems with OPL loading or working even with this error.

If you have a previous save file for OPL, you'll have to delete it in order for this plugin to work. Save files are found in your "Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\PluginData\[Your LOTRO Username]\[Server name]\[Character Name]" Delete the file called OPL.plugindata

Nice job. I saw this before, but didn't really have a need for it as the Plugin Manager was working just fine for me, but I recently ran into a conflict between two plugins. So I added them to /opl, then unchecked the offending plugins from Manager, then added /opl to Manager. Now when I use Manager's "Reload" feature, it successfully loads all but the two plugins that conflict, then loads OPL which loads them in my specified order. This gives me the ease and graphical interface of Manager while providing the ordered list of /opl.

Now if you were to take this one step further and make an interface similar to /man or more specifically like /travel where you could rearrange the order via a graphical interface (see Travel's skill list resorter), plus had the "Reload" feature that Man does, then this plugin would easily replace /man as the gold standard in plugin managers.
