Description
The Naugrim

Info:

The Naugrim UI set contains two different UI Skins that are based and combined off of Sinli's Enclaved FIRE&ICE and LM Durin's Folk.

As such, these skins have minimized the previous 1600- screen version of the Enclaved to a lower amount, using elements from Durin's Folk.

The two skins are the Firebeards UI and the Broadbeams UI. The first, as you can probably tell from the name, is based off of Enclaved "FIRE" and the second is based off of Enclaved "ICE". With this combination, you create a full dwarvish theme for each skin but not necessarily the same style as Durin's Folk. Thus, they make appearances as two other well-known Houses of the Naugrim.

The Firebeards UI gives a bold, dusty feel to your UI, using browns and reds. The Broadbeams UI gives a tough, cold feel to your UI using different shades of icy blues.

Lore:

Two fathers of the dwarves awoke in the mountains of the West, the Ered Lindon that was later called the Ered Luin, the Blue Mountains. These dwarves woke together in stony halls, and began to grow their peoples and build great cities near to each other.

The Firebeards built the city of Nogrod south of Mount Dolmed, in the center of the Blue Mountains. Tumunzahar was the Khuzdulu name for it, which means Hollowbold in the Common Speech. The Firebeards fought with the Free Peoples against the First Dark Lord in the Wars of Beleriand, and forged the famed blade of Narsil and the most glorious of the works of dwarves: the Nauglamir. However, they came to the halls of an Elven-king and built many beautiful things, as well as setting a Jewel into the Necklace. This was the most beautiful thing seen ever in Arda, the Nauglamir with the Silmaril in it, and the Firebeards demanded the King to give it to them for payment of their labours. Yet the King refused them. This ultimately led to the Sack of the elven-kingdom.

The Broadbeams built the city of Belegost north of Mount Dolmed, which lay in the center of the Blue Mountains. Its Khuzdulu name was Gabilgathol, and its Westron name was Mickleburg. They were friends to the Sons of Feanor, and even the Lord of Belegost for much of the First Age gave to Maedhros the eldest son his helm that was forged by the Firebeards. The Broadbeams were great warriors who fought in the Wars of Beleriand, even succeeding with the downfall of their king to drive back the Father of Dragons, Glaurung, and his army of Beasts to Angband. When the fury of the Firebeards was ignited, the Broadbeams attempted to give reason and dissuade them from attacking the Elven-kingdom, but it was to no avail.

Credit:

Credit to Sinli for most of the interface design for both UI's. Credit to LedMirage for certain elements of Durin's Folk, and credit to Daimon for the tools to update Enclaved FIRE&ICE to work for F2P (using "revisited" file on Durin's Folk).

Unhappy If I could I would...

I think I know what your referring to, but honestly I won't be able to in the foreseeable future. I have no idea right now how one does that, so your best bet would be to fix it by finding the knowledge elsewhere (ask a more experienced skinner on the forums here, perhaps?) or stick with the default.

found an error :(

Hi,

First I'd like to say I really like the Firebeards UI. The goldish coloring is really nice

However, when I applied it to my account I noticed the bottom left corner of the bags had the grey/line background that appears when things aren't quite right. After looking at the Definition.xml I found this:

"<Mapping ArtAssetID="box_silver_bottom_left_noadorn"
FileName="leiste\panel_corner_lower_left_noadorn.tga"></Mapping>"

it should read:

"<Mapping ArtAssetID="box_silver_bottom_left_noadorn"
FileName="panel\panel_corner_lower_left_noadorn.tga"></Mapping>"

I blodfaced and italicized the word causing the problem I was having. As soon as I fixed it the bags were perfect. I really enjoy the look of this UI, so I hope this helps others who like it but aren't using because of this.

Thanks for the upload!
