This patch basically disables the changes to panels that have been affected by the 29Nov2010 update.
I will endeavour to get another patch out once I have the (I'm assuming) new art asset IDs for some of the panels, assurance that the 6Dec2010 update hasn't added anymore misbehaving panels and time to rework some other minor fixes. 
This patch does include removal of the stable master backdrop and the fix for the player and opponent vital alignment.
Once you've installed it re-run the btach file to recreate your skindefinition.xml file.
