Description
About

Calendar is a simple calendar to track events.
Events consist of a Date, Time, and Description.
Events can be saved on your character or your account.
Events are visible as highlighted squares in the calendar.

Known Issues / Limitations / To Do

There is only one Event saved per day. ToDo: allow multiple Events per day.
You can overwrite Events saved for your Character by saving them on your Account. ToDo: separate the character and account calendars into two separate sets of data.
ToDo: Assign icons for Events.
ToDo: Enable timers with Events, so you can get a reminder pop-up when an Event is due.
ToDo: Change the date highlighting when multiple Events are scheduled on the same day.

Installation

Simply copy the FrostyPlugins folder from the zip file to your "My Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins" folder.

Getting Started and Users Guide

Once in the game, load the calendar by typing:

/plugins load calendar

The current month will be displayed in the calendar window; the current date will be highlighted with a red border.
You can use the left and right arrows adjacent to the month display to go to the previous and next month. The calendar window will reset to the new month.
You may click on the "Save Data on Character" to transfer the event information to your account. Events saved on the character are for you alone, those saved on the account are shared across all characters.

To hide the calendar, click on the "x" close button in the right corner or use the "/calendar hide" option.
To show the calendar, use the "/calendar show" command.

Left click on any date in the calendar to bring up the events window.
The event window can be used to adjust the time of the event.
You may enter a description of the event in the space provided.
Clicking "Save" will save the event to the calendar.
Clicking "Clear" will remove the event from the calendar.
Clicking "Cancel" will discard any changes and hide the event window.

Me too! I would love to see either this plugin developed, or something similar that will allow me to track events across all my characters. Really, what I want is Remember The Milk for Lotro... but still!
There will a "Notes" section as well as a "Recipe List" and other goodies in the next release of AltInventory (which should really get renamed at some point since Inventory is only a small fraction of what it does now)

Calender is not loading

Hello!

I got a problem with the calender, that is, I can't open it when I'm logged in with my Main Char.
I have tried to delet it from the Plugins folder and copy it fresh down loaded in there again.
But still I can't open it when I play my main char.
Also it works fine with all the other charakters on the same account.
What could be the problem?

I like the plugin very much, because it is fine to run a charakter diary.

Best wishes from Dusseldorf in Germany

Garlond

Oh, another question, where are the informations in the calendar saved?
I'd like to have a back up for savety and it would be nice if I could copy the information to a text program like word.

Whoops! I see the mistake, the .zip file was incorrectly created (I'm such a newb!). The latest version of the zip file now matches the Installation instructions. (The .plugin file was included in the original .zip, but it wasn't in the correct directory.)

Thanks for catching it, Emberleaf!

It appears you forgot to add the .plugin file to the archive. Without this file, the game cannot load or read the plugin. Love the concept - looking forward to checking this out!
