For the past month I been thinking on how to resolve this issue,and the only way I can think of,yes make more transparent but I think Im also going to make the Ring circle bigger and fill the inner ring map with the glow so it wont reach to the actual map area.
what this means the map ring will be bit bigger than it is now.
Also was thinking a different gloss or sheen that wont make it hard to see thru
on the edge.
While I was playing NWN2 I look at the minimap sheen and thats what I basically going to make for more of the optional pak of minimap.

I like the glow, but maybe make it a little more transparent so it's not quite as hard to see through it on the edges. Sometimes if it's blue you can't see the blue arrow of a resource node for example very easily. Otherwise I think it looks sharp.

Hi justis,thanks for the comment.
Yes this why I tried to include everything I could for people's peference.
I did include one set of minimaps that hardly has any glow or the sheen.
Either the Optional Pak 1.4B\Mini map\Gems\F3

Or

Optional Pak 1.4B\Mini map\No Gems\F2

Unless you wanted no glow at all in the inner map,then I will make some later date.
This past weekend was kinda sick and sleeped most of the days for two days.

This is one of the best UI skins I have seen in a long time! Great work!

The only complaint I have is the radar map shadow.. That reflection surface on it makes the arrows for node tracking very difficult to see if they are in that shaded area.

That's why i said have it say 3-4 dread or 5-6 hope

Hi.
Theres a problem with that.
Theres only 6 minimap for hope,not 10.
And theres only 3 minimap for dread.

Yeah I would loved to have that too,but the hope 1 and 2 uses the same minimap (hope_1.tga) same thing with 4-5 etc.
Only hope 9 and 10 uses their own minmap hope.

Maybe another option would be to have instead of the gems it would have a number listed like 2-3 so you can see your actual hope/dread value without having to mouse-over the little thingy.
