This plugin is so amazingly nice. I would suspect that I use it's features a lot more frequently than the average Joe. It has become invaluable to me.
Thank you for making it, but even moreso thank you for sharing it.

problems with system time
This looked like a cool plugin until I noticed that even though I clicked 12H time and my system time is 3:45pm, it insists on showing the time as 15:45am.
Hmmm...apparently I was looking at the 2nd time zone clock instead of the local time clock.

Hy Vald
first off all sry for the long delay, have been on vacation
ok lets talk about the "bug", i have a problem to reproduce the error.
i have tried it on the - EU Client (24.04.2011)
- US Client (24.04.2011)
maybe you could give me some more hints like
- used Client
- CTime Version
- fresh installation or older save files
i remember that there has been a bug with the 'LocalPlayer' on the EU Client before the November-Patch was on the servers, but this error has been fixed.
[EDIT]
after reading the error message again and and check the affected part of the sourcecode i guess you use an older version of CTime is this possible ? (the actual version is CTime 1.4.5 - see download link on top of the page)

Needs updating. Right-clicking to set options gives the following error:
...e Rings Online\Plugins\ChronPlugins\CTime\Window.lua:1155: attempt to call field 'LocalPlayer' (a table value)

Hy, i think i have to answer the latest questions. (sry for the long delay )
@ Garlond
No, CTime doesn't support cooldowns if you are not logged into the game, this is caused by the fact that ctime doesn't use a calendar. sry for that.
@ muxi
there is a real good plugin for the ingame time on this board, and i guess it is the best way to not unite these two plugins. in these early lua status it would cause many problems to unite the code and even to fix bugs (when lotro updates go live). maybe sometimes we gonna find some plugins like "titan panel" where we can group up plugins like this. almost sry for that.
@ all
i hope you all still enjoy CTime hope that there will be some updates to lotro lua within the next month, i have some really nice ideas but at the moment it isn't possible to realize them

lotrotime
hello, thanks for the plugin.
how about adding a mode that displays the lotro ingame time? there is already a plugin that calculates the lotro time (1 lotrotime minute equals x-real time minutes etc), you would "just" have to implement that functionality.

Alarm clock
Hi!
I wonder if this is working to monitor cool downs, like weekly crafting items.
Can I set up a time and the Alarm clock reminds me that cool down is finished?
Or is this just working as long as I'm logged in?
Like I have to set up alarm times everytime I log in?

Hy Rekrapg
the main Clock is always set to your system-time.
I'm not sure if i understand your intention correct, but if it is 08:00 AM (08:00) in Aus(tralia ? or Austria ?), than the server time is 05:00 PM (17:00) the day before (right ?) if yes than you can just set the second timezone on +9 (24 - 15) because CTime doesn't work with a calendar. I'm not sure if you means that, if not pls give me more hints you means
i thought about building in a time-zone chooser (like i live in +1 CET and the server has +3 Whatever) but there are too many timezones (including + .5 h (CTime doesn't support half our differences)) so i decided to not build this function in (sry )

Hi Chronicleward,
I have a feature request if that's possible - can the clocks either be set on timezones (ie for me + 10 GMT home, -5 GMT so I have server time), or, the ability to go more than just -12 hours. For me being in Aus, the server time is -5 GMT and I am +10, with the 15 hours difference. I'd love to be able to use this extension to show both zones so I dont have to use my brain when the server going down message pops up

No hard feelings, just wanted to mention it so it may help to improve your plugin.
The functionality is great so far, I tried to use it during the watcher fight to time my conjunctions but the fps drop makes it almost impossible to play there considering the already very high fps loss caused by that instance.
Cheers,

hy GrimCon,
first of all thanks for your reply.
it's good to know that hazado isn't the only one with a higher fps-loss than 15%.
i know that the fps loss is a problem and i'm planning to complete rebuild CTime, but i can't tell you when i gonna find the time to do it and i also want to wait if there are any massive LUA-changes within the next time (because the last LUA-changes killed almost every existing plugin).
i know that this isn't the answer you wish to read and i'm sry for that, but thats the actual status.

Hi,
I'm loosing quite some fps too when turning this plugin on. Though not as much but still about 17% which is quite a lot considering that all my other plugins together could not produce any noticeable loss.

FPS-Loss II
hy Hazado
after reading again that you got an unacceptable FPS-loss i'm a little bit confused, i gonna try out some things, but i would recommend to check your system, because the last FPS-Loss wasn't caused by CTime, maybe this time its the same.
anayway, it would be great if you can ask the author of the plugin which causes the last problems what he fixed, then it would be much easier for me to check if the problem is CTime.
EDIT :
After testing it again, i only can give you the same answer as the last time. there may be an FPS-Loss of about 10 - 15 % which would be in your case about 35 Frames. guess you should get sure that CTime causes this problem and check your system, if everything is fine there.
sry that i can't give you another answer
@ all
if anyone else has the same problems it would be great if you can tell me about it.
