Certain plugins which directly overwrite player functions like InCombatChanged may break KragenSlots functionality if loaded after KragenSlots. If things do not seem to be working correctly then ensure that you are loading KragenSlot last as it does not overwrite these functions.

Modes/Settings:
----------------------
Lock Slot: Prevents drag drop operations.

Change On:
Scroll: Scroll to switch between skills/items in the slot.
Click: Click to switch between skills/items in the slot. (Left Click uses Item/Skill and advances slot, Right Click advances Slot)
Both: Scroll and Click functionality together.


Active:
Always: Slot is always visible.
In Combat Only: Slot Only displays in combat.
Out of Combat Only: Slot Only displays out of combat.

Preview:
None: Slot only shows the Skill/Item currently in focus.
Horizontal: Slot displays previous and next skill/item to the left and right of main slot when your mouse is hovered over the slot.
Vertical: Slot displays previous and next skill/item above and below the main slot when your mouse is hovered over the slot.
Horizontal- Always Show: Slot displays previous and next skill/item to the left and right of main slot.
Vertical- Always Show: Slot displays previous and next skill/item above and below the main slot.

Hover Effect: Slot Fades between minimum and maximum opacity when you hover over it.
Minimum Opacity: Opacity of Preview slots, and Main slot (when hover effect is turned on and mouse isn't over slot)
Maximum Opacity: Opacity of main slot when hover effect is turned off or mouse is over slot.


Installation
----------------------
Manual Install
1) Download KragenSlots
2) Extract KragenSlots.zip downloaded in step 1 to your Documents\Lord of the Rings Online\Plugins directory
3) If you already have a KragenPlugs folder, select Merge and replace exsisting files.
4) Launch from within game as normal (via manager or via /plugins load KragenSlots)


Usage
----------------------
The first time KragenSlots is loaded (either via an in-game plugin manager or by executing the command:
"/plugins load KragenSlots") the setup window will be displayed to allow the creation of slots via the "Slots" tab.

To Create a Slot:
1) click New and then rename the New Slot via the text box.
2) Setup your settings for the slot.
3) Drag your first skill/item onto the newly created slot(it should have a blue background)
4) To add more skills to the slot drag them onto the slot while holding the Alt-Key down.
This will add the new skill/item into the list directly following the currently displayed skill/item.

You can reaccess the setup window by typing in '/kragenbars setup' or by clicking the KS icon.

When adding skills/items to the slot dropping it on the slot will replace the currently displayed skill/item.
Holding Alt while you drop it on the slot will insert it in a new position in the list directly following the currently displayed skill/item.
Dragging a skill out of the slow will remove it from the list. If you drag it out and haven't released it you can add it back into the same spot by holding Alt and dropping it back on the slot.
Locking the slot will prevent all these actions from happening accidently.



Known Issues
----------------------
-The API does not allow us to determine whether the client is in layout mode (CTRL + \) or not. Loading KragenSlots while in layout mode will result in drag bars that display/hide when they should be doing the opposite. If this happens just unload and reload the plugin with layout mode turned off.

I'm not sure if i get what you mean. Do you mean you want to set it to be maybe 2 or 3 wide and scroll through 2 or 3 at a time. Or do you mean be able to have more than 8 shortcuts on one slot.

Currently the turbine API doesn't allow plugins to accept keybindings. I'm hoping they add support for this in the future.

Correct on both counts. The main thing would be to have it configurable to show 2 or 3 buttons. It would be a bonus to have more than 8 total if you wanted more (hunter ports for example).

I can see what I can do for the next version. I can definatly add another row of 8 easily. I don't think adding the ability for multiple quickslots being on top should be too problematic. Just not sure where that functionality would be useful. Just out of curiosity what would you use it for.

I use the 3-slot carousel for many things. However, they are not as easily configured as yours because I have to edit the Lua file manually. I have a hunter one with ports, horses, recalls and other travel skills, a horse one with racial and rep travels, a warden one with musters etc. Particularly the hunter......I can condense about 3 hotbars worth of skills,ports,travels and horses into 1 or 2 of the 3-slot carousel bars and have 3 slots active per bar instead of just 1. I would prefer to use your plugin since it is much easier to use and configure than the ones I kludged together. It would be even better for my use if I could configure the slot to show 1, 2 or 3 of the slots and still have the scrollable carousel.

I have kragenslots up next for a major update. I will add that as an option and I will also make them have another row of quickslots for a total of 16 possible slots.

After todays patch 11/28/10 i am getting this upon load.

I am back, was busy at work for a couple weeks then I moved. Getting my computer and internet back and running today so expect patches to fix what was broken with the Nov update to LOTRO.

New version of KragenSlots coming tonight, just wanted to make sure that you guys know I didn't forget about it.

As for tracking skill cooldowns, not sure it is currently possible, but I will look into it.
