Re: can't get to work
you need to extract ALL parts directly to /plugins/myplugins/
so the .plugin and the DailyTasks folder will be sitting in the /myplugins/ folder

I keep getting the error messages:
...gs Online\Plugins\MyPlugins\DailyTasks\DT_Window.lua: 20: attempt to call global 'class' (a nil value)
...ings Online\Plugins\MyPlugins\DailyTasks\DT_Main.lua:37 : Failed to import package "MyPlugins.DailyTasks.DT_Window"
any idead why? It seems to happen to all chars, earlier I had no problem.

That happens when the Turbine library is missing.

Version 2.2.3
I decided that DT was overdue for automatically updating player level while its running, so I finally took the time to implement the event handler for the level changing. No more need to reload after leveling.
I also got tired of infused crystals showing up as junk trophies, so I added code to ignore them.
Note: I just noticed that the entry for "Broken Wood Spear" got garbled. I'll post a fix soon. You can correct line 118 in DT_Data.lua with
Code:
["0F791"] = { C=15, N="Broken Wood Spear",

In particular, the file ../Plugins/Turbine/Class.lua needs to exist. To make sure it isn't corrupted, try re-installing it from the link in the DT readme file.

I have the Class.lua but its under Plugins/Turbine/Utils
I will copy it to the prior dir and see if it works.

Version 2.3
I fixed the entry for "Broken Wood Spear" and added a new Common folder to replace the need for the Turbine library. This should make the install process easier for new users.

thanks for this very useful plugin. i really like the R-O (rep only) option.
i hope you could modify to plugin to make it 'remember' the checked state of the R-O option. currently it is unchecked each time the plugin is loaded.

I've read the readme file and believe that I've followed the instructions completely. I would love to have this interface, but can't get to to work. I do understand that the most common reason for this error is that it isn't located in the right folder. I Extracted all files to:
C:\Documents and Settings\Tom\My Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\Plugins\MyPlugins
I still keep getting the message: Unable to load "dailytasks" upon entering the command "/plugins load dailytasks" in the chat window. Many Thanks!

Does DailyTasks show up when you do "/plugins list"? If not, the DailyTasks.plugin file isn't in the MyPlugins folder.

Yep. I still get the error message, but everything else works. I love this! I'm leveling 4 alts and this saves me a TON of time. Thank you!!!

Turn-in availability correction
EDIT: I just installed the latest version and it's working fine. Not sure what happened, but all is well now.
Wanted to say thank you for this addon. Very useful for those of us that do the tasks.
I noticed that one of the turn-in's was incorrect for an item.
My hunter is 52 in Eregion. I just turned in Albino Skin at Echad Mirobel but when I do /dt, or /dtc, etc. Albino Skins don't come up as being available.
Thanks. Just wanted to let you know.
Don
BTW, I am running the version that was available as of 6/9 when I downloaded it. I will update to the 6/14 update and verify it's the same.

Sometimes items don't show up
After updating to the latest version it appeared that the problem I saw in my previous append was fixed. I've since noticed that it seems to happen after playing awhile. For example, Albino Skins wasn't showing up as a valid turn-in. After reloading the plugins, it was back to showing for me.
Additional Iinfo:
I use a plugin manager to load my plugins, loading Travel, and MountCarouselME in addition to Daily Tasks for this specific character.
Just wanted to let you know.
Thanks,
Don

There is a known inventory bug with LOTRO's Lua that causes plugins to not see some changes. Reloading refreshes the inventory. Hopefully Turbine will fix this with the next expansion.
