Introduction

This plugin contains a checklist that helps you keep track of which Class Trait Points you have earned.

The plugin can't detect whether you have completed specific deeds or quests, but it tells you exactly where to look in your Deed Log or Quest Log to see if you have completed each item. You can then tick the box next to each item as you complete it, and the plugin keeps a running total.

For each Class Trait Point, the plugin includes a link to the relevant lotro-wiki page for further information.

Installation and Startup

To install:

First, unzip the archive. You will get a folder called "Thurallor". Move this folder into your Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins folder. (If you have not previously installed any plugins, you will have to first create the Plugins folder.)
Or if you prefer, you may use Plugin Compendium to do the installation.

To load the plugin, use the game's built-in Plugin Manager. This can be found in the "^" menu, at the bottom of the screen. Click the

icon, then choose "System" and then "Plugin Manager".

When the Plugin Manager opens, find Class Trait Points Checklist in the list on the left side, then click "Load" to load the plugin. If you would like the plugin to load automatically each time you login, choose your character's name in the "Automatically Load For" pulldown menu.

Yeah, it would be cool if I could make "Deed Log" clickable and automatically open the Deed Log, but alas, I can't.

Could just be me having a seniors moment!

I mean when you say open the Quest Log, I was opening the Deed Log instead, not realising immediately that it was other one and looking in the wrong place. Once I worked out which one to check it was simple.

I don't understand the source of confusion; should I explain the difference between deeds and quests? Or how to find the two logs in the UI?

Huge thanks!

Thanks so much for this plugin, without it, I NEVER would have found that 1 missing point! (hidden away in the Stoke Mead Hall!)

Took me a while to work out the difference between Deed Log and Quest Log, wasn't obvious at first, so maybe worth mentioning incase anyone else is getting confused.

this kind of stuff frustrates me to no end, when I have no clue what I would have done wrong and do not understand computer lingo

I'm not sure what the problem could be. Make sure the directory "Plugins\Thurallor\Common\Turbine" exists. Maybe you didn't copy all of the files out of the zip file into your Plugins folder.

Otherwise, I would recommend you use the Windows program LOTRO Plugin Compendium to install the plugin for you. This program will also install a new version if the plugin for you when it's available.

Any chance of getting a slash command to toggle the window on/off along with one to do the same with the icon? I just prefer to hide all plugin icons/buttons and make shortcuts for their slash command so I can pop it on a hidden bar and bind a key to it.

Alternatively, could we get a smaller and more transparent icon? maybe 24x24 instead of 32x32?

I'll use your plugin regardless, as I really like it's functionality. Thank you for taking the time to keep it up to date!

Not that I know of.

Do you have the same problem with other plugins? What client language are you using (English / German / French)?

Your problem seems to be that the plugin is unable to save its settings, for whatever reason.

The settings file is

Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/PluginData/<account>/<server>/<character>/ClassTraitPoints.plugindata

If, for example, the file permissions on the folder are set such that that file can't be created, then the plugin will start with default settings each time it is loaded.
