DaimonUI: The Siege of Mirkwood -theme was first introduced with DaimonUI version 4.0
To apply the addon you first need to have the original DaimonUI installed. You can get it from http://www.lotrointerface.com/downlo...-DaimonUI.html
__________________________________________________ _____
Installation:
- To apply this theme you need to have the original skin as well.
- After you have installed DaimonUI, download this theme.
To learn more how to install DaimonUI check ReadMe.txt.
- Extract the theme in the same directory where DaimonUI is located and overwrite/replace all files (there's lots of them).
For Windows XP DaimonUI should be located in the following path:
"C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\The Lord of the Rings
Online\UI\Skins\DaimonUI4\".
For Windows Vista and 7 DaimonUI should be located in the following path:
"C:\Users\<username\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\UI\Skins
\DaimonUI4\".
- Launch the game and enjoy.

Multiple themes on one account
If you want to use different themes for different characters it's quite possible but requires a little effort.
- Install DaimonUI if you haven't done so already.
- Make a copy of DaimonUI4 folder (location explained above).
- Install the theme like explained above.
After this you should now have two directories: DaimonUI4 and Copy of DaimonUI4. They both have all the same files except the other contains a different type of theme than the other one.
- In order to be able to switch between the installed skins you have to do a little editing with your text editor (notepad) as now the skin names are identical in both directories.
Open Skindefinition.xml in your text editor - there are three of them:- for DaimonUI \DaimonUI4\Setup\SkinDefinition.xml
- for DaimonUIMini \DaimonUI4\Mini\SkinDefinition.xml
- for DaimonUIUniversal \DaimonUI4\Universal\SkinDefinition.xml
If you don't plan to use them all you can just rename/delete those Skindefinition.xml's so they don't confuse. Doesn't matter what you rename them as Lotro only looks Skindefinition.xml named files for skins.
- In SkinDefinition.xml look for the line that says (use your text editor's Find function): SkinName
- Edit the name between the speech marks (ie. "name of the skin"). Use what ever name you prefer, like "DaimonUI SoM" for example.
- Do this with all those three different SkinDefinition.xml you plan to use.
You should now be able to select between different themes when you enter the game.

Vitals
Is there a way I could make the vitals of the mini/universal versions look like the vitals from the normal version? I tried moving around the files and copying them to be in the Mini>Vitals folder aswell as the normal one, but that made a mess as the universal/mini vitals then had the glitch with a blue/white checker-ish thing..
Also, how can I move the toolbar on my screen?

Hey Daimon, just wanted to throw this out there seeing as how everyone has been updating their skins and what not. Just a minor issue I noticed today.
Thanks again for the great skins!

tallboy: *gives envious glance* so with standard skin I take it you mean the big bar right ? should be fairly simple. Just open DaimonUI4\Setup\Skindefinition.xml in your notepad. Find the line that says "ToolbarField" and replace X zero value with 1680 (ie. X="1680") on that line. That should do it - in theory at least

Love the skin especially the standard one.
The only issue I have is that I play with three 1680x1050 monitors (total resolution 5040x1050). I would like to use the standard skin and just have it on the center monitor, however, I am having little joy in reworking the configuration to make that happen.
Any pointers that might help me?

Hmm, I seem to be having a hard time updating to this new look. I think I've done everything I need to do, not sure what I'm missing. But I get the main toolbar to switch to the new theme but many elements didn't change over.
I took a screen shot to show you what I mean.
Screenshot link
Any idea what I've neglected to do?
EDIT:
Nevermind, I just completely got rid of the DaimonUI file I had before and reinstalled from scratch and it works fine now Great UI!
