questlog in 1.1

Description
Since the crafting interface seemed to work nicely, I decided to change the other two windows I was annoyed at: Dressing room and Vendor.

Update:
1.2 Crafting window disabled, waiting for new SkinDefinition to adapt the new style to Firefern's style
1.1 also embiggened mailbox and quest log. Crafting window has has it's tabs fixed, is made slightly darker and some fields have been moved around for better positions.

Summary:
Crafting window layout changed, bigger.
Dressing room layout changed, bigger.
Vendor, mailbox and questlog, simply taller.

Cool Quest Panel Modiification

Hi,
Thanks for this skin!
The Quests panel was crowded with tasks. I couldn't figure out ID of new elements, so I moved some other things. These attribute values for these elements will clean up the panel a bit:
Code:
<Element ID="Quest_Filters"                        X="26"   Y="-5"   Width="356" Height="59">
<Element ID="Quest_Header_Divider_1"                 X="262"  Y="4"   Width="1" Height="16"></Element>
<Element ID="Quest_Header_Divider_2"                 X="496"  Y="4"   Width="1" Height="16"></Element>
<Element ID="QuestCount_Label"                     X="338"  Y="2"    Width="108" Height="20"></Element>
<Element ID="Quest_CountText"                      X="420"  Y="1"   Width="107" Height="24"></Element>
<Element ID="QuestTree_ExpandAll_Button"             X="8"  Y="43"   Width="16" Height="16"></Element>
<Element ID="QuestTree_CollapseAll_Button"           X="8"  Y="60"   Width="16" Height="16"></Element>

Hello! I've been using your skin for quite some time as I think most of the windows in the game are way too small. lol Really appreciate you taking out the crafting panel until we get new tga files but I did happen to notice that the Quest log is still the same. With the addition of the tasks in game the made the top section of the image bigger. I'm not sure if we need a new tga file to change that or if we could just make it bigger with the existing code. I am not very good at altering the size of windows otherwise I would give it a shot, but just an idea.

Thanks again!!

The dressing room change for me, still...?

However, with the latest update: the crafting pane is a complete mess (I will fix that when there's an updated Skindefinition). There's some other mess too (quest pane, for instance).

To disable the crafting pane, edit
<PanelFile ID="ID_UISkin_Craft_Window">
and call it something like
<PanelFile ID="xxxxID_UISkin_Craft_Window">
instead.

Great job.. Now if only we could have resizable windows.

How do I go about getting this to work in conjunction with say JappMe SoM Ivy?
I suppose you take the image files from this skin (the .tga files) and put them in the Ivy directory, and take the PanelFile contents you want and move them over to between <opt> and </opt> in the destination skin.

That is you have to move complete chunks:

Code:
    <PanelFile ID="ID_UISkin_Craft_Window">
...
    </PanelFile> <!-- end "ID_UISkin_Craft_Window" -->
for things to work. Then restart the game to make it load the new xml file. If the skin didn't show up, you messed something up.

(also make sure you don't have two of the same panelfile in there.)

edit: You need to copy the ArtAsset lines too, forgot:
Code:
    <Mapping ArtAssetID="..." FileName="fireferns_....tga"></Mapping>
etc.

NB: I haven't tried the skin you're talking about. Good luck!

I just stole the enlarged panels but the crafting one and added them in my UI

Nice stuff.

Btw, not sure if it's a bug or what but when we zoom in the dressing panel the image overlaps outside the main frame when you have big weapons while turning around your character. No big deal though!

Have you noticed what will happen if you move the dressroom panel to the left side of your screen ? not that it matters but it's kinda funny

Well done, I'm using the mail vendor and questlog with my ui. Looks good and able to see alot more of the info. Only thing I've seen with the quest log being the size that it is, opening up finished quests causes fps to drop. I think that is due to lag from the client to the servers though.

Overall really happy with the additions to my ui, thank you for putting this out.

Thanks. I actually just tossed away the dressing room background (it's outside the frame now and doesn't get drawn).

1.1 uploaded with bigger mailbox and questlog as well.

I also managed to understand how the transparency worked and have fixed the tabs in the vendor window. (Also made it darker since lots of text is really dark - like dark red - and was hard to see.)
