The Shortest Route Is Shown!

Description
Limitations
Ever needed to get from one location around Middle Earth and you're not a hunter or can't bribe one to port you around? StableGuy gives you a quick and easy method of using the available Stable Masters to show you shortest path from A to B.

Simply select the starting location and where you want to go and StableGuy will show you the shortest route by calculating the minimum number of hops to travel from A to B thus minimising cost and travel time.

Features
Simple drop-down menu to select From and To locations.

Incorparates waypoints to run to manually to get to the nearest Stable Master where no direct link exists. eg. You can be in Inner Caras Galadhon, but there's no direct Stable Master route to Caras Galadhon (no idea why!). StableGuy will direct you to run to co-ordinates at the south gate, then on to the Stable Master to continue the journey.

StableGuy also works across all regions throughout Middle Earth. eg. You want to travel from Echad Dunnan in Eregion to The Vineyards of Lorien in Lothlorien. StableGuy will show all the Stable Masters and Waypoints into Moria and out the other side all the way to the Vineyards.

StableGuy covers all the regions around Middle Earth including Moria, Lothlorien, Eregion, Bree-land, Misty Mountains, Trollshaws, Ered Luin, Evendim, Forochel, Shire, Angmar, Enedwaith, North Downs, Dunland, Gap of Rohan, Mirkwood, Nan Curunir, The Great River, Wildermore, East & West Rohan, Dale, Mordor, Ered Lasgalen, and the Vale of Anduin.

Not only does StableGuy show locations for all the StableMasters, but also includes all entrances to raids, campfires and mustering horns, milestones, and spawn locations for Warbands throughout Wildermore, East & West Rohan, some places of interest and the Home of Radicus Hood for good measure!

Limitations
StableGuy will suggest the shortest route based on all known connections between Stable Masters, even though you may not have previously unlocked the suggested Stable Master. You will need to discover the Stable Master in that location in order to use it in the future by either speaking with the Stable Master or completing the corresponding deed.

StableGuy does not calculate actual time taken to travel from A to B because paths and tracks do not interconnect in a straight line. Roads can wind and twist and horses/goats vary in speed, therefore affecting the actual time taken to travel.

StableGuy always uses Swift Travel as a priority over normal travel to shorten the number of hops, even though this may not be available until Swift Travel has been unlocked by either discovery or completing deeds. Misleading results may occur if you do not have Swift Travel unlocked for the suggested locations, but will all fall into place once you have them unlocked.

If you can't see the suggested Stable Master on your list, it means you haven't discovered it yet. This should not pose too much of a problem because most quests are fairly localised at the lower levels. StableGuy comes in particularly handy for doing quests that require running around all over the place such as the tavern challenge quests.

Version Information
v12.10 - Added Kingstead Meadows and Kingstead Hills Homestead Stablemasters. Fix some typos. Sorted Options into Alphabetical order. Included Lunarwater's Waypoint with U26 patch.
v12.00 - Added Wells of Langflood StableMasters and Milestones. Added Eagle shortcut from Beonhinghus.
v11.00 - Added Minas Morgul and Mordor Besieged Stable Masters, Milestones, Campsites, Blazon's, Gates and Far-Reaching Stable Masters.
v10.00 - Added the Vale of the Anduin Update Stable Masters and Milestones - I have noticed that there's a problem with at least one of the Stable Masters so far and that is, you can get Swift Stable from Beorninghus to Bree, but there is no Swift option from Bree to Beorninghus, only to Hultvis. I haven't crosschecked all the other Stable Masters they tapped into from The Vale towns, so there might be more. This will play havoc with my algorithm as there is no way to account for a one-way Stable! All previous Stables have been two-way and I'm not prepared to rewrite 3000 lines of code to fix this! Hound SS to correct this!
v9.02 - Added Waypoint Hide and Waypoint About (?) buttons.
v9.01 - Added Waypoint button - Now works with Lunarwater's Waypoint plugin to guide you to your selected waypoint. Waypoint displays a compass to point you in the right direction. The last selected item from any list is parsed to Waypoint.
v9.00 - Added StableMasters & Milestones for u23.
v8.02 - Fixed installation folder problem.
v8.01 - Minor path corrections.
v8.00 - Added Mordor and Eryn Lasgalen (Strongholds) update (Finally!). Some cosmetic changes and path corrections.
v7.04 - Minor update to path... should be "RadicusPlugins\StableGuy" - copy all the contents to your plugins folder.
v7.03 - Added The Wastes Milestones.
v7.02 - Added missing Hourn links in Nan Curunir to Entwood. Added About button.
v7.01 - Added Cape of Belfalas travel from Dol Amroth.
v7.00 - Added U19 Stablemasters - Anorien After Battle & North Ithilien.
v6.02 - Renamed Minas Tirith to Minas Tirith Main Gate. Added StableMasters throughout Minas Tirith. Now all linked to Main Gate.
v6.01 - Added missing Dunharrow camp and milestone.
v6.00 - Added new U18 Far Anorien update Stable Masters, Campsites and Milestones. Fixed some spelling mistakes.
v5.03 - Fixed subfolder typo - no changes to main program.
v5.02 - Added missing StableMaster at Iorelen's Camp in Aughaire.
v5.01 - Added new U17 Old Anorien update Stable Masters and Milestones.
v5.00 - Major Update! You can now select a region from the dropdown list, and only those locations within that region will be displayed, so that you don't have to scroll through over 150 locations to find the one you're looking for! I've also consolidated the Stable Masters, Milestones, Camp Sites and Mustering Horns within that region into one list. Fixed some minor spelling mistakes. Added Osgiliath raid locations.
v4.01 - Fixed bug on not finding settings file on startup for new installs (as described in user comments below), added missing Milestones & Campsites in West Rohan & Western Gondor, renamed Pelargir to West Pelargir, added Central Gondor & Eastern Gondor U16 Stable Masters, Milestones & Campsites
v4.00 - Added new U14 & U15 updates - New Stablemaster locations in Western and Central Gondor.
v3.00 - Added new U13 updates - New Stablemaster at Isengard & Hourn Waypoint, Updated routes and Milestones in Trollshaws and Misty Mountains.
v2.13 - Added Helm's Deep (West Rohan) updates! Includes new Stable Masters, Campsites, Milestones and Warband locations.
v2.12 - Added Warbands approximate spawn locations in Wildermore and East Rohan.
v2.11 - Added Wildermore Stable Masters & Milestones.
v2.10 - Fixed wrong upload file.
v2.09 - Fixed f12 Hide Icon Button and Panel.
v2.08 - Added Frostbluff Stable Master for Winter Festival Special Event. Changed functionality - right-click StableGuy icon to open panel rather than double-click.
v2.06 - Added East-Rohan Stable Masters, campsites, & milestones.
v2.05 - Added Festival Stable Masters and milestone (Treasure Hunt) in Bree-land, Ered Luin and Lone Lands.
v2.04 - Added milestones with co-ordinates, renamed campsites with horns, fixed a couple of typo's, added a splash of colour, and location to the Home of Radicus!
v2.03 - Sorted Stable Masters into region order, added co-ordinates to Stable Master locations, added Homesteads to Places of Interest, added missing Stable Masters (Searadan's Cabin & Candelleth's Camp).
v2.02 - Fixed that path problem (again!). Hopefully added the correct compendium configuration data. Added 'Camp' next to campsite co-ordinates for easier identification.
v2.01 - Fixed a problem for 1st time users that would fail to load the plugin.
v2.00 - Added locations of all known campfire sites, mustering horns and raid entrances as well as an all new compact look.
v1.00 - Initial release!

Future Plans
Find a way of eliminating Stable Masters not unlocked yet from the route, and/or an option for non-subscribers that don't have swift travel available. This will require abit more time to go back over all the routes and add non-swift travel routes as well, but need to work out how I'm going to link towns up as alot of them only have swift travel routes and no slow travel... kind of defeats the purpose as you wont be able to use the Stable Master to get around! You'll have to run manually. Any suggestions?

Add new zones as they become available.

Add more places of interest (send me your suggestions to be included!)

Automatically detect closest Stable Master to your current location and suggest as starting point... hmmm Pythagoras Theorum and some Triangulation will come in handy here. Lucky I paid some attention in math class.

Installation
Ensure the file path is: "\The Lord of the Rings Online\Plugins\RadicusPlugins\StableGuy" if installing manually or use Plugin Compendium to install to the correct folder.

Any plans to add new locations?

If not, I'll look at doing a patch for them or do you have the code on Github so could provide a pull request for them?

The first place I used this plugin to go to was the Craft-hall of Esteldín, but I cannot find the region "North Downs" in the pulldown menu for regions.
North Downs is in the main Locations dropdown.

Only waypoints show up for me, I guess the brawler update broke it.

I highly recommend this plugin to all new LOTRO players as it helps figure out the travel routes when you havent learned how to get to places at LOTRO yet.

Missing from Manage Plugins

As of today StableGuy is no longer showing in my Manage Plugins. I have tried numerous times with Plugin Compendium to reinstall it. It says install complete and then I need to update Waypoint, but StableGuy is no longer showing as an installed plugin.

*Update*
In game I did a /plugins refresh command and then logged out and back in. I now have StableGuy available again to all characters. Not sure what caused it to vanish over night, but very happy to have one of my favorite plugins back!

If you have the swift travel option already unlocked, it would be far quicker to take the swift from South Bree to Osgiliath then to 21 Hall, rather than spending 5 minutes riding to the Bree Homesteads.

The plugin uses a score of 1 for swift travel routes, 2 for regular travel and 3 for walk travel routes, so that is why it's recommending Osgiliath over Homesteads. The route with the lowest score wins.
Eh, yes thanks. But that wasn't the point I tried to make with my comment, haha.

The part you didn't quote was my request whether the far-ranging stablemasters from the homesteads could be added, as they have a lot of great swift routes to faraway places, and even offer destinations that others don't (example: Party Tree in the Shire).

And thanks for sorting the lists alphabetically, it will make selection a lot easier!

Re: Missing Moria

HTML Code:
I am unable to find Moria in either the from or to listings. Something I am missing?
Make sure you have the latest version, don't install that older patch incase it overwrites my code. All the Moria locations are okay.

I don't see the homestead far-ranging stablemasters in the list, only the milestone. Is it possible these could be added? I'm sure they'd be quite the asset to this great addon. :3
