Description
This is my first attempt at something like this so it's not terribly creative as it's just artwork used from the LOTRO website, but it stays with the theme of the game.

There are three colours in the file that you can choose from. Normal, blue, and green. I hope you enjoy it... or at least one of the colours.

Plus the idea of having the two bars together was from Caldric's Stone Age Bar. I liked it and used the idea.

Update 1.1
I've coloured more of the tabs, buttons, etc to match the appropriate colour of each skin. A red skin has now been included as well.

Update 1.11
Fixed a small border of the green skin that showed up red.
Edited the XML to the right version. (Thanks Ernest and Dolby )

Update 1.12
Changed the social highlight graphics. It looked good when highlighting people on friends/kinship list, but looked terrible for highlight traits from the character journal.

A couple of people are unfamiliar with moving the UI bars to align with the skin and Caldric's directions are perfect for it:

To do so, once you replace the skin, you want to follow these steps:

1) Open your Main Menu
2) Go to "UI Settings"
3) Go to "Quickslot Bars"
4) Select the Bar you wish to use (1-5)
5) On that Bar, check "Always Show" and make sure it's not docked
6) Add an Ability to that bar (for alignment purposes)
7) Use "Ctrl+\" to unlock your UI
8) Drag the Quickslot Bar into the Bottom Bar graphic and align it
9) Lock your UI and you're ready to go!

Thanks for the response, I look forward to the graphic if you still have it. I guess I didn't clarify what small problem exists in my mind with the 2nd bar. Yes I have the 3 hotkey bars stacked on each other so they appear normal when in game and pressing CTRL, ALT, or SHIFT. However when you bring up the Skills window (K) or Inventory (I) all 3 bars become visible on top of each other and you can only place hotkeys on the bar on top. That's where the problem lies. Unless there is a trick I am unaware of. If that's the case then I'd love to know what little thing I'm not doing correctly. Thanks!

Hi fwaits, if you follow Jael's steps you won't get that stacking above the main inventory bar. Just make sure to remove the check mark for Dock Action Bar 1, 2, and 3.

As for making this a single bar UI, I'm actually done skinning now since there are some real artists making some nice skins now. This was really just a learning experience for me, but I will look to see if I can find a picture of the bar without the cut outs of the ability buttons and then send it to you.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Only problem with that is when you need to set hotkeys with the Skills or Inventory windows open. Then they all appear stacked on top of each other and only the last bar set can be hotkeyed.

Hi folks,

For those of you that are having problems with the action bars not lining up this is how to sort it:-

Drop a random skill, item etc into slot 1 of each bar (just so you can see where the bars will line up to).
Press ESC to bring up options.
Find where it says 'Dock Action Bar 1' and remove the tick in it.
Do the same for Action Bars 2 and 3(dont worry about them appearing to move position)
Press CTRL & # to bring up the UI positioning.
Move Actions bars around until they fit into the UI graphic

Kaylin, thanks for your work on the interface, I like the general look and colors. One small request if I might, can you modify the main bar to remove the 2nd row bar and just make it a single row all the way across like the default interface? I like how the docked bar behavior works and it would rock with your interface look without the 2nd bar there. OR perhaps modify it such that the second bar is raised up to line up with the existing "hovered" bar when you press CTRL, ALT, or SHIFT. That would rock too. Thanks much!

Seems when I load this UI the secondary action bar isnt lined up with with the boxes.

Just follow the directions from Caldric's Stone Age Double. Then they will line up.

Thanks Ernest! I agree that a version without those bag/interface buttons could be nice as well. I play at max rez, but for launch I lowered it in case of lag from all the players in one area and a smaller bar taking up less room would be nicer then.

That could be my next little project once I get some play time in with Open beta.

Very nice!

Very pretty! But I sure would like to see an option without the bags or the various interface buttons to the left.
