---buffbars issue fixed-- 10/19/2011

This simple sleak meter , displays info in real time.
This does not track burst. the whole intent here is to show your damage over time which in your rotation will include cast times etc so ssay 5 seconds gives you no useable representation of your actual dps.
total dps is what you should watch for an average of damage dealt while in combat.

the concept for this plugin can be compared to skada for wow, as the ui is small compact and everything should be just a click a way. i wanted to get away from as many menus as possible and provide the most compact ui i could. any problems or ideas let me know

click the green box on the left to minimize dass

click yellow for dps frame, green for heal frame, red for defense.
right click any of these and it will reset the info.

clicking dps tab will cause the title bar dps txt to show current dps, clicking heal button will cause this to show current hps.

this was a complete revamp so i know there are some bugs so let me know.
im slowly organizing code as i go along, as the alpha was basically written in less then 8 hours of work. so over time the code will be more understandable to those who wish to learn off of it.

new ui complete with simple percent bars

this has alot of tweaks to damage calcualations to be more accurate.

added tracking of biggest hits , biggest heals

saves biggest hit, biggest heal info

saves last posistion

now tracks devastates

tracks heal criticals

and more..

Fixed most issues. i think most of the problem was other plugins hooking the incombat event. i switched to how kragan bars hooks events in. seems to be working alot better for me. let me know if this fixes issues

Instructions
extract to plugins folder ---
in game type /plugins load dass

green arrow in upper left corner minimizes/maximizes window

click and drag on dass to move window.

yellow button = dps offensive panel
red button = dps Defensive stat tracking panel
green button = hps panel

right click on any of these buttons to reset data and start a new log

you need to make sure you have Turbine files in your /plugins directory , so it should be /Plugins/Turbine , and /Plugins/Freeplay/dass

okay so , i figured most of you had the turbine files in the plugin folder, guess not . my bad . the new upload should temporarily fix everything. as far as the load errors. i took this from a big collections of addons i was doing and seperated it , sorry for the errors ..

i tested it tonight on a guard from 1-15 with no meter resets and didnt get any errors keep the posts coming i can only fix what i know about or add what you think would improve .

0.0.5 loaded fine, but it seems to not like Kragenbars - my guardian suddenly couldn't use the KB button for parry reactions anymore, and /plugins unload after that crashed the whole client. Then again, I'm almost falling asleep, so I'm sorry I can't give better info.

as far as devistate it tracks this also. its just not displayed in the alpha.
because crits and devistates are 2 different kinds of hits. and devistates do more damage than a critical does.

i will have to try to download kragen bars to see whats up with it. i dont use any addons besides the ones im making so i really have no clue. but my meter does not add any slash commands etc so im not sure why on unload it would crash. i just started making addons for lotro like a week ago so ill have to do some research on it. the only changes to turbine library files that i made are in the the timer manager file.

in the beta which will be a more stable version i plan to implement quite a few more options and save options etc. so if you would like something besides devistate and biggest hit tracking added let me know thanks for the feed back

the only part that works for me is the evades / blocks / resists / parried (red tab)
if i heal myself or my pet as a LM, each of those %s gets lower with each cast, since my pet isn't resisting my heals i suppose.

ill have to check on a lore master i havnt tested it on one and dont currently have one. im sure it does have to do something with your pet. as lm was the only class i havnt been able to use during the programming the log might be some what different. if you want to private message me log ( just by copying your combat tab and pasting it into the message) that would be helpful because i have to start a lm from lvl 1 >< . do 2 fights cast your dmg spells on a mob and your heals. if you could do that would be much appreciated.

the heals i tested with a mini , and have used dps on every other class except lm.

the percent gets lower because it basses your defense on times that a mob lands or attempts a hit from you so if you get hit 5 times with 1 evade the percent is 1 devided by 5 etc

known issue is incorrect handling of dmg delt with pet classes, and high lvl damage out put. i only have access to logs with lvl 23, and blodes lm log. but i have ident.. the problem with that. so pls post lvl and class that you are having problems with .

also if you can just copy your combat log channel , with 1 or 2 fights this will def speed up the process of adapting the ways identify the messages the meter recieves thanks for the feedback theres no way i would have caught these on my own

I've only just noticed your pm and this update and am on my way to bed, but just one question...

Why do you make a change to a Turbine class? I'm only a novice programmer, but as this is an API that is usually accessed by multiple plugins, this screams to me of errors waiting to happen. Or was your change actually a fix that I didn't understand?

I am quite interested in this plugin, but that little detail made me a bit wary now. Please comment.
