Paged Slots

Description

Paged Slots Plugin

This plugin creates a small, simple to use quickslot bar that is 6 slots long, but has four 'pages', for a total of 24 quickslots.

Install
To install, unzip the downloaded file into the C:\Users\{username}\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\Plugins folder.

This plugin also requires the Turbine utilities file that is available at: http://content.turbine.com/sites/lot..._LuaPlugins.7z

NOTE: You can safely merge the DhorPlugins folder with an existing folder if you have one of my other plugins installed. It will not break anything.

Start
To start the plugin, type /plugins load pagedslots.
To show or hide the window, you can type slots toggle

Usage
Change from horizontal - vertical by clicking on the round yellow button.
Change the pages by clicking on the arrow buttons.

- added the .plugincompendium file to the project

- fixed saving data for non-English clients

Version 1.10
- fixed bug in loading settings
- added message for when the plugin is fully loaded

It can be moved by clicking and dragging anywhere on the bar (except on the buttons and quickslots).

My suggestion is keep your file active, but just change the folder structure and name so it no longer overlaps the original.

Removing Big Paged Slots

Hello

First i have to say that the only thing why i uploaded the Big Paged Slots was, that i wanted give the people a choise. To let them use the same addon as yours but with more fields. But the Addon doesn't work for longer Times. I tried this a few Times and always it failed. I changed just the Field and Pages Numbers in the Files and just Uploaded it as an Addon with a new Name, but it was even further your Addon, not my. So i let the Drawer Structure and keep Rights as yours. Because there are Problems with the both addons i wanted to disable the Big Paged Slots. But i doesn't find an Option to remove it. Now i have read that u know how to disable the Big Paged Slots in the List. Please do that. After this there will be no Errors with your Addon anymore.

Patches aren't supported yet. Patches would have to work like dependencies but only in reverse. If somone in LPC were to select a patch, it would have to first ensure it is installed first them install patch (so files get overwritten correctly).

Ya, the non-english clients don't save the settings properly, I will have to make it save everything as strings to get it to work.

After configuration of the plugin and restart from lotro i get an error:

One thing you can do is set up your own list of favourite plugins and use that to list plugins to have in the list.

I seperated them for my own use...

I made a folder for Amethadan

Moved his Big Paged Slots files to that folder

Copied your common folders to his folder

Went through all of the files in that folder and changed references to DhorPlugins to Amethadan and changed any reference to PagedSlots to BigPagedSlots

Changed the Author to Amethadan - Dhor

This worked for splitting the plugins in LPC and in the Turbine Plugin Manager (as well as in Bootstrap & Plugin Manager), and it allowed your Paged Slots to update correctly. I haven't tried them in game yet, but when I do, I'll let you know if it worked.

I know I only need one of them actually, but I'm collecting all of the plugins and using them to learn how you authors use Lua and how you each handle different situations, all in the hope of trying my hand at some plugins myself eventually.
