Being that I still cannot reproduce the bug on two different computers and it has been around for a while I need somone to confirm that Dromo's generous fix does get rid of the problem.

Not sure why you can't reproduce it, i personally have this bug on several computers; both linux, and multiple versions of windows.
One more attempt for instructions how to reproduce: - Load CombatAnalysis
- Open the windows
- hover your mouse over the send to chat button
- DO NOT MOVE YOUR MOUSE AFTER THIS
- type '/ca toggle' to hide CombatAnalysis (pressing / will select chat so you dont need to move mouse, alternatively you can make a shortcut for this)
- start and finish an encounter
- click with your mouse on the empty space you left it at
One more thing that comes to my mind since i have not checked z-orders, for it to work 100% , you want to make sure there are not any other UI elements under your mouse.
It might be a cosmetic bug, but it is quite annoying. I met many players ingame that accidentally spammed theyr parses in chat. I do not play lotro for as long as others so pretty much when it first happened to me, it seemed to be well known bug.
And btw it was also reported here back in 2015

Yes. i gave the window size. normally its (0,0) but that doesnt change the fact that even when the window size is 0, you can however over the empty space and accidently click the send to chat button. |

important - i set the chatSendWindow Opacity to 0.5 and bgcolor to red and found out that the hidden window will apear on screen even if the plugin is minimized to icon. This is caused because minimized in the context of overview window means, that the window is minimized to titlebar.
Could be fixed by modifying if:
