I am using 4.8.11a. I tried your instructions, and the same error keeps occurring. So, to be safe, I completely deleted CombatAnalysis from my plugins and removed my captain's profile folder. I did a fresh download and a clean reinstall of CA. Opened up the traits configuration and without even changing anything, I tried to select Red, and the same error happened. Is it potentially because my Captain is a River Hobbit and Comat Analysis does not yet recognise River Hobbits? Apart from that, I don't know why this is happening. If so, CA could potentially run into other issues with other classes that are River Hobbits.

It is the default trait configuration setup that comes built into Combat Analysis. I have not yet added or removed anything. I discovered this bug as I tried switching to Red to customise this configuration. This is in English. So this list of traits will be whatever comes pre-loaded with CA by default. Could you provide a bit more detail? When you restart does it work with the changed to traits? How many traits trees do you have? What color trait trees? How many traits in each? Can you get it working again with the any trait tree?

Is there a way to get a debuff bar for targets working with this? I was referred here from "BuffMonitor" plug-in page. It stated that this "CombatAnalysis" plug-in (together with the patch) worked together with BuffMonitor to be able to track target debuffs. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get that to work.

Any assistance on this? A dummy's guide to get this working would be greatly appreciated!

I just started seriously playing LOTRO last week and I love this plugin. There are two things that I have minor issues with:

One is the use of shorthand in the overall and encounter damage data (k/m/b), as I don't believe the mob morale is structured this way in game. Granted I'm only a Lvl 16, but just an early observation.

Second: This may not be feasible, but can damage output be saved on a character basis instead of a session basis? Just curious on this point.

Any news on this after 3 weeks? I was referring to the original nameplates that the game uses when mentioning the mob morale.

Champion Debuffs

Hello! So I am having some difficulty getting things like Hamstring, or the DoT from Rend to show up with BuffBars. I'm not exactly sure whether I'm just doing something wrong, or if it is a bug or limitation of the lua.

Brawler without errors now?

Hi all, especially bornflight, heduda, Gatros and Drono,

Thanks to the above for pointing out my errors whilst adding the Brawler to CA.

4.8.10 should not have any of the error messages appearing on the startup of a new character. There is a chance if you already have a trait file in the PluginData directory that you'll get an error box on start up in German and French. Click yes to that box and you will get a fresh trait plugin file.
