Hi all,

I'm not able to play LotRO at the moment to update any of my plugins. My laptop is on it's way out and can't handle the game even on the lowest graphics settings - it's tragic. But I plan on buying a new laptop either next month or in June as I need it for my work, so all things being well I hope to have an update then. As for filtering by type - unless the API has been updated lately to provide more information for each item, it is highly unlikely I will be able to filter by anything more than what is already provided. Presently the only item information available from the API is:

- Item Name (string)
- Item Description (string)
- Item Category (number) - this will tell you if it's hands, feet, legs etc.
- Item Quality (number)
- Item Durability (number)
- Item Is Magic (true/false)
- Item Is Unique (true/false)
- Item Icon Image ID (hex number)
- Item Icon Background Image ID (hex number)

I've been asking for years for an update to this particular API as it would be awesome to have a database full with all the information including stats and so on, but so far I don't believe anything has changed. It would certainly make keeping Tulkas up to date, another of my plugins which is just so far behind

I'm not sure if this plugin is still being updated, but would it be possible to add filters to armours so that you can search specific pieces of gear by armour type along with slot?

Thanks for the reply. I suspected the answer would be something along those lines.

I have found something else that I thought I'd flag. Some items seem to have different names from the names shown in their tooltips. I'm guessing this is again Turbines fault:

Hi,

This is not an error in the plugin, but exactly how the items work in-game. It is possible for the same item (as shown in your image) to exist with different item levels, but these are still based off the same item (the IDs are the same). This is to do with items scaling, which will be offset from the character level at the time of creation. Unfortunately the API is only capable of showing the base item values in the plugin, and not those that have been scaled.

There seems to be a problem with items that have the same name but different item levels, and presumably different item ID's, only showing the first match. See the following example:

Can you add the appropriate ".plugincompendium" configuration xml file to the distribution so that it is easily tracked and updated.
