Thanks Adra.
I've messed around with them and I'm quite pleased with the result: no more brown-ish backgrounds and instead a clean black one.

As I've really enjoyed my short editing session I might even tinker more with it.

Version 6.22.1 - April 02 2018
- Renamed " _Erebor ..." theme profiles to " Erebor ..."
- Redesigned the travel to instance button
I've updated most of the screenshots on the download page.
Version 6.22 - April 01 2018
- JRR Erebor theme is no more an addon and is now a part of the main JRR pack, porting to 28 the number of themes and variations included in the main pack !
If you had the Erebor theme previously installed, please delete its old installation folder to avoid conflict with the new one.
- Delving Hills theme have now a third toolbar profile.
- Based on the Update 22 skinning pack, many icons are recolored (no more blue based).
- A few portraits have been enhanced.
- 2 loading screens have been changed.
- A few enhancements in Monsters Lair theme.
- Some other changes and enhancements here and there.
A new toolbar profile revisits the default blue Lotro toolbar : JRR - Delving Hills *Large II*
@ Myrthian
Hi and sorry for the late answer, I didn't saw your question before.
The files you need to edit to change the background color are located in the sub folder of delving hills named "silver".
the center of the background and its borders are separate files.
the center is named center_silver.tga
The borders are upper/lower/side/bottom beginning files.
@ Jae Onasi
Hi, and you're welcome.
Lotro is able to find the skins folders locations, no matter the depth of the tree path, same thing for the name of the folder(s) containing the skins.
Nevertheless, optional skin addons like "greyskin" or "smallbar" won't work correctly is the tree pathing and naming aren't exact.

Thanks for all the work on these lovely skins!
I had trouble getting them to work at first. I had to copy the files from the JRR skins folder up one level into the skins folder itself, then it worked fine. I just wanted to let you know in case some others had a bit of trouble getting it to work.
I also found I had to scroll way down in my UI options to find the option in game to change the skins.
Beautiful work and thank you for keeping up with this. I've just come back to the game after a long time, and it's nice to see all these interface plug ins and skins.

Thanks Adra, saved me a tonne of editing
Version 5.21 - October 21 2017
Lotro update 21.2 introduced 2 new filter buttons on the quest log panel.
This JRR skins pack update consists only in a hotfix and a re-balancing of this panel to relocate the new buttons at the bottom of the panel.
A special big thank to Siloren (software engineer in Standing Stones Games) for working and communicating about the panel code entries which made this fix possible.
Of course thanks too to Andvarion, ScottK and Osdor for informing about this issue and about the solution offered by Siloren.

@ Osdor
Hi and thank you for making me be aware of it
I've tested the code from Silorien it and it works.
I'm presently repositionning the buttons and resizing the panel to make it look a bit better.
I think I'll deploy the fixed skins on lotrointerface during this weekend.
Regards.

@ andvarion and scottk
Hello, I just had a look on this issue.
I cannot move the new buttons on the quest log panel without knowing their source code, and unfortunately I would need a skinning update pack from turbine for that. The last one has been published for Lotro update 20.
That said, you can manually disable/remove the extended quest log panel customization by editing (with Windows Notepad or any else text editor) the skindefinition.xml file of the theme you want to fix (in the sub folders of JRR skins collection. (there is 1 skindefinition.xml file per skin).
To disable the panel, simply delete all the code between the lines :
Code:
<!-- Extended quest book, by Adra -->
and
Code:
<!-- End of extended quest book. -->
Sorry for not having a better solution to offer you.

Or better yet, move the buttons to fit large window.

Oh definitely. I just meant something quick and temporary I could do in the mean time until skin pack gets an update.

Re: Update 21 patch 2
Quote:
The new update added 2 new filter buttons to the quest log. They are located where the quest log would normally be, but due to the extended windows this skin provides, the new buttons are misplaced.
Is there a way to return the quest log to its original size?
